Just the way we go!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
As we could see blue sky between the clouds after long rain, I walked in our port town.
To the building over the bridge.
There is a gallery in the building and one art exhibition is being held there.
The artist graduated same high school one year later than me, and he is a teammate of its sports club.
He has studied language and art in Tokyo and overseas. And he came back hometown to hold this exhibition.

So far, sales point of this port town is the atmosphere of Retro and TAISHO (1912-1926) roman. But I personally expect new movement in this town involving artist like him coming back his hometown.
Not only TAISYO, SHOWA and oldies music, but also something new, artistic with sharp sense we should have to increase value of this town. Because we have to make tourists excited about this town and make them feel to visit here.
There are some single events with good artistic sense, but we should have that all the time.
Thank you and you have a nice day with sharp sense but without feeling too easy because this is local town in Kyushu.

進むべき道！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
久々に雲間から青空が顔を出した今週、我が港町に行ってきました。
目的地は橋を渡った先にある建物。
そこで開催中の絵画・版画展。
アーティストは高校の後輩、運動部のチームメイトです。
東京・海外でのアート修行を経て、ふるさと凱旋展覧会。
作品はこの町の光をテーマにしたものが多いようでした。

レトロとか、大正浪漫とかがウリのこの町ですが、こうしたアートを持って凱旋してくる人間も包み込んで、なにか新しいムーブメントが起こらないかと期待しています。
大正とか、昭和とか、オールディーズだけでなく、新しくてセンスの光るものも共存する港町に変われるかどうかが、訪問したい町になれるかどうかの生命線だと確信しています。
すでに単発のイベントでは光るものもある中、常時センスの良い状態を保てるといいですね。
それでは、田舎だからと油断せず、いつもどこか輝くスキのない素敵な一日を！
