Lately, I’ve been seeing this sight very often.

Perhaps what’s really needed is a new route across the strait, sometimes referred to as the Abe-Aso Bridge.

もしかして、やっぱり必要なのは安倍麻生大橋とも言われた新しい海峡を越えるルートかもしれません。

春よ〜！ / Dear spring!

Dear spring!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, now is the time of year when we start hearing frequent forecasts for when the cherry blossoms will start blooming!

However, the cherry blossoms won’t start blooming for a little while longer; full bloom will probably take two more weeks or so.

For those who can’t wait two weeks…

Spring in the Strait!

The flowers are at their most beautiful right now.

This view can be seen from the platform of JR Komorie Station, the nearest station to this guesthouse, and you can be surrounded by flowers just a five-minute walk from here.

It’s a smart way to pass the period until the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

春よ〜！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

日本では桜の開花予想がひんぱんに聞こえてくる季節になりました！

ただ、桜の開花はもう少しだけ先、満開の花まではあと２週間ぐらいかかるでしょうか。

そんな２週間も待てないって人には、、、

海峡の春！

当宿最寄駅のJR小森江駅のプラットホームからも眺めることの出来るこの光景、当宿から歩いて５分ほどで花に囲まれることができます。

桜の満開までのつなぎにオススメです。

それでは、花と赤煉瓦と海峡と行き交う大型船と鉄道・電車を一度に楽しむ素敵な一日を！

Only one on the breakwater

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Monday, sunny, northerly wind.

In stark contrast to the weekend, there is no one on the breakwater.

No, if we look closely, it seems there is only one fisherman there.

What a luxury it is to be able to leisurely fish alone on a long breakwater.

Furthermore, since it is surrounded by the sea on all sides, there is probably even less pollen.

There are many such space-rich and time-rich spots around this area.

Fishing rods are available to rent from this guesthouse.

How about taking some time to check in with yourself once in a while?

先端にひとり

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

月曜日、晴れ、北の風。

週末とはうって変わって防波堤に人の姿はありません。

いや、よく見るとひとりだけ釣り人がいるようです。

長い防波堤にたったひとりでのんびり釣りができる、なんて贅沢なんでしょう。

さらに四方を海に囲まれていることもあり、花粉もさらに少ないかと。

そんなスペースリッチ・タイムリッチなスポットがこの周辺にはたくさんあります。

釣竿は当宿から貸し出せるものもあります。

たまには自分自身と向き合う時間、どうでしょう？

それでは、極めて高密度に花粉が飛散している都会から退避して素敵な一日を！
