Major debut?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Yesterday, the business enterprise that we are indebted to on a daily basis was featured on the national news.

Starting this summer, their store might be able to meet everyone in the Kanto metropolitan area for the first time.

(I knew that there were already stores in suburban Kanto area (Yamanashi, Chiba, etc.))

I have no doubt that it will be accepted in Kanto and Eastern Japan as well.

I want them to compete fiercely in a good way with my favorite OK group that I often use when they stay in Tokyo.

We frequently use the store, which is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive from here, as a regional flagship store, and we also provide their items to our guests.

Being directly exposed to their low prices and business strategies is always helpful and encouraging to us.

We hope that they will expand into eastern Japan in earnest and utilize their expanding buying power to provide a positive stimulus to Japan, currently struggling with  high cost of living.

メジャーデビュー？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

毎日のようにお世話になっているところが、昨日全国版で取り上げられました。

この夏頃から、関東都心部のみなさんには、はじめましてになるかもですね。

（関東周辺部（山梨や千葉など）にはすでに店舗あることを利用して知っていたので、、、）

関東・東日本でも受け入れられること間違いないと思います。

東京滞在時によく利用するお気に入りのOKグループと、いい意味で対抗して激しく競ってもらいたいものです。

逆にOKにも九州に進出してもらいたいところです。

ここから徒歩１５分、車で５分のところにある地域旗艦店舗に位置付けられているお店を頻繁に利用していて、そのアイテムは当宿のゲストさんにも提供しています。

その安さや事業戦略に直接触れることは、当宿の助けや励ましになっているので、

これから東日本にも本格展開して、拡大するバイイングパワーで、この物価高に迷走する日本に良い刺激を与えてほしいです。

一番懐かしい場所 / The most nostalgic place in this town

The most nostalgic place in this town

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This week, my old mother, who was hospitalized with a compression fracture at early November of last year, was finally discharged from the hospital.

The hospital is located in the same neighborhood as this guesthouse, and we could see this lighthouse from her hospital room.

(By the way, the green roof on the lower left of the lighthouse is that of this guesthouse.)

In fact, my mother was in this hospital exactly this week ten years ago.

However, in that case, my mother was not hospitalized due to injury or illness

but, to give birth to the host.

Nowadays, several of my classmates have passed away, and I am truly grateful that I am able to come back here healthy and happily entertain guests, and I am also grateful to my mother and this place.

It was the SHOWA era at that time, and I don’t know if my mother saw this view from the window of her hospital room, but I feel very strange about this coincidence.

一番懐かしい場所

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今週、昨年末に圧迫骨折して入院していた老いた母がようやく退院しました。

その病院は、当宿と同じ地番にあってご近所、病室からはこの灯台を臨むことができます。

（ちなみに灯台の左下のみどり屋根が当宿です）

実は、母はウン十年前のちょうどこの週にも、この病院に入院していました。

ただ、その際は怪我や病気での入院ではなくて、、、

宿主を出産するため。

同級の何人かが他界する昨今、この地に戻ってきてなんとか元気にゲストさんを楽しくおもてなしできることを、心からありがたく、母にも、この地にも感謝しています。

時代は昭和、その時の母が病室の窓からこの景色を見たかどうかは分かりませんが、この巡り合わせはなんかとても不思議な気分です。
