Inconvenient Truth – Japanese version

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Four months have passed since the plastic bag stared to be charged at all stores in Japan. Are you utilizing your own bag (reusable bag)?

I remember that charging bag is for reducing marine plastic waste, but I have simple doubt about it.

Because I don’t see many plastic bags floating in the sea.

I rather see plastic bottles and plastic liquid containers around our beautiful beaches. And I think that it is the real.

So plastic bottle should be charged, I think.

Similarly each of us are contributing to global warming with gasoline-powered vehicle.

Furthermore, carbon dioxide emissions is a problem, but nuclear waste problem is as critical to human beings as global warming.

Not like official document of Regional Finance Bureau about Moritomo Gakuen Problem or invited guest list of Prime Minister’s cherry blossom viewing party, we cannot make global warming and nuclear waste non-existent. We do need immediate measures. Can’t we expect each citizen’s awareness of the issues and voluntary restraints by all makers/producers?

Are there any movie directors of producers like Michael Moore and Davis Guggenheim in Japan?

日本版　不都合な真実

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本でレジ袋が有料化になって、４ヶ月が経ちましたが、マイバック（エコバック）活用されていますか？

確か、海洋プラスチックごみを減らすためというのが理由だったと記憶しますが、素朴な疑問があります。

レジ袋ってそれほど海に浮かんでるのを見かけないんですけど、、、

むしろ、ペットボトルなど、液体容器が圧倒的に多いのが率直な印象です、、、というか事実です。

だったら、むしろペットボトルを有料化するべきでしょうね。

同様に、国民一人ひとりが関与している地球温暖化の原因は「ガソリン車」でしょう。

二酸化炭素排出も問題ですが、だからといって最終処理方法すら決まっていない「核のゴミ」を増やすのもどうかと思います。

こうした問題は、森友学園関連の財務省の公文書管理や、桜を見る会の招待客リストのように「なかったこと」には出来ないので、一日も早く国をあげた対策が必要だと考えているんですが、、、国民一人ひとりの問題意識や、各製造者による自主規制って期待できないんでしょうか。

この国には「マイケル・ムーア」のような監督もしくはプロデューサーは現れてこないのかな？
