Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
These are the information which I found in the old port town.
Because manager of TOUKA love to see maps and charts, I couldn’t help but stare at them.
According to these charts, we can understand European sailers in 16th and 17th century know about this strait very much.
Now looking down the strait from here, we are reminded of the European sailing ships that passed through this strait 500 years ago.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
先週訪れた古い港町で見つけた情報です。
宿主は地図フェチ・海図フェチなので思わず飛びついてしまいました。
これらの海図を見ると、16•17世紀にはこの関門海峡が欧州の航海士たちにはっきりと認識されていたことが分かります。
そして今、ココから海峡を見下ろしながら、５００年前にこの海峡を通り過ぎていたヨーロッパの帆船に思いを馳せています。
それでは、大昔にタイムスリップする素敵な一日を！
