The first church I visited in Nagasaki this time…
Although it is not a World Heritage Site, it has overcome a violent and tragic history over its 400-year history of missionary work,
standing on a hilltop in a town where Japanese and Western cultures blend naturally.
The weather was good that day, and the church looked radiant to me.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今回、長崎で最初に訪れた教会は、、、
世界遺産の対象ではありませんが、400年以上もの布教の歴史の中で、
激しく悲しい歴史を乗り越えて、今や和と洋とが自然に溶け合った町の高台に立つ美しい教会でした。
その日は天気も良く、自分には教会は光り輝いて見えました。
