Although we’re only about a third of the way through July, summer is already in full swing in the Kanmon Strait!
Outside this guesthouse, there was a chorus of cicadas, a sound that I did never heard in Tokyo.
And behind the town on the other side are summer rain clouds.
Next weekend in Japan will be a three-day weekend leading up to “the Marine Day” national holiday.
To enjoy summer to the fullest, go to the scorching sea & beach, as the name suggests, or to the cool mountains & highlands!
But before you go out, don’t forget about it!
Yes, the election!!
The host had already done it before climbing to a secret summer retreat at an altitude of 1,152m.
If you will work hard during this weekdays and planning to go out during the holidays, today is your last and only chance.
Before you head out over the holidays, don’t forget to vote early (absentee).

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
７月もまだ序盤の1/3が終わるぐらいの今日この頃で、関門海峡はもう夏本番！
宿の外は東京では聞こえなかった蝉の大合唱です。
そして対岸に見える町の背後には夏の雨雲。
さぁ、来週末の日本は「海の日」の祝日につながる三連休です。
夏を満喫しに、その名の通りジリジリ焼ける海・ビーチでも、涼しい山でも、行っちゃいましょう！
でも、出かける前に、忘れちゃいけないのが、、、
そう選挙！！
宿主は標高1,152mの避暑に登る前に済ましてきました。
もし今週の週日にはお仕事で、連休にはお出かけを予定しているのなら、今日ぐらいしかありません。
