The most worrying international situation

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Is it an occupational hazard that I have to constantly pay attention to international situation because we are in the business which take care of the majority of our guests are from overseas?

While we were thinking about this, the United States attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Ah, I wish they’d stop it!

In this area, gasoline prices have come down so far…

Because it is our largest expenditure, rising crude oil prices are a bigger issue for us than the price of rice.

海外からのゲストさんが大半を占める仕事に従事しているせいで、常に国政情勢を留意せずにいられないのは職業病でしょうか？

そんなことを考えているところに、アメリカがイランの核関連施設を攻撃しました。

あぁ、やめてほしいなぁ！

ウチの支出のなかで一番大きいために、原油価格の上昇は、米の価格よりも死活問題です。

Think about how to get along

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Sunday in Kanmon began on a hot and humid morning.

A slight shower in the afternoon made it even more muggy, but

after a steady rain in the evening the temperature dropped down rapidly,

and it became comfortable, with temperatures reaching the teens.

During this rainy season, a stationary front often moves over here to the south and causes a sudden drop in temperature immediately after it passes.

By paying attention not only to the room temperature but also to the outside temperature, it seems possible to live a comfortable life without wasting energy.

付き合い方を考える

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

蒸し暑い朝で始まった関門の日曜日。

午後の小雨でさらに蒸し蒸ししてくるも、

夕方にザッと降った雨の後には急激に気温が下がり、

温度は10度台に届きそうなぐらい快適になりました。

梅雨前線が南下してきて、通過した直後には気温が急激に低下することが何度もあるこの梅雨。

室温だけでなく、外気温にも気を留めるようにすることで、エネルギーを無駄遣いせずに快適な生活が送れるようです。

今日の空 / Today’s sky

Today’s sky

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I titled it “Today” because I wanted it to look good, but the correct title should be “Yesterday’s Sky.”

The first picture was taken at 19:26.

This photo should have been taken just as the sun was setting.

The next picture was taken at 20:04. The sky was still bright.

So why did I take a photo of the sky, which wasn’t particularly unusual?

Because yesterday was the summer solstice.

To be precise, the days will get shorter and shorter starting from today. Sigh.

今日の空

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

見栄えを気にして、タイトルは「今日」としましたが、正確には「昨日の空」です。

本来であれば、日没に突入するタイミングの一枚です。

次の画像は20:04に撮影。まだまだ空は明るいです。

で、なんで変わり映えのしない空の写真を撮ったか？

それは昨日が「夏至」だったからです。

正確には「今日」から日に日に日が短くなってきます。ちょっとため息。
