The most nostalgic place in this town
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
This week, my old mother, who was hospitalized with a compression fracture at early November of last year, was finally discharged from the hospital.
The hospital is located in the same neighborhood as this guesthouse, and we could see this lighthouse from her hospital room.
(By the way, the green roof on the lower left of the lighthouse is that of this guesthouse.)
In fact, my mother was in this hospital exactly this week ten years ago.
However, in that case, my mother was not hospitalized due to injury or illness
but, to give birth to the host.
Nowadays, several of my classmates have passed away, and I am truly grateful that I am able to come back here healthy and happily entertain guests, and I am also grateful to my mother and this place.
It was the SHOWA era at that time, and I don’t know if my mother saw this view from the window of her hospital room, but I feel very strange about this coincidence.

一番懐かしい場所
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今週、昨年末に圧迫骨折して入院していた老いた母がようやく退院しました。
その病院は、当宿と同じ地番にあってご近所、病室からはこの灯台を臨むことができます。
（ちなみに灯台の左下のみどり屋根が当宿です）
実は、母はウン十年前のちょうどこの週にも、この病院に入院していました。
ただ、その際は怪我や病気での入院ではなくて、、、
宿主を出産するため。
同級の何人かが他界する昨今、この地に戻ってきてなんとか元気にゲストさんを楽しくおもてなしできることを、心からありがたく、母にも、この地にも感謝しています。
時代は昭和、その時の母が病室の窓からこの景色を見たかどうかは分かりませんが、この巡り合わせはなんかとても不思議な気分です。
