Our guests know more than us!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
While working in this guesthouse, we sometimes receive small gifts and souvenirs from our guests.
One of the rare cases is when someone buy something for us after coming here on a trip. We are very grateful and humbled.
I was casually watching TV the other day, and one program featured something I had received from different guests a while ago. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MErCnXEg80 )
When I opened the souvenir bags and looked at them again, I realized that although each gift had been given to us by a different guest, they were both local foods that are loved by Fukuoka residents.
Our guests seemed to know more about Fukuoka than the hosts, and I was just impressed by that.

ゲストさんは知っている！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
この仕事をしていると、ゲストさんからちょっとしたギフト・お土産をもらうことがたまにあります。
なかでも稀にあるのが、こっちに旅行に来てからわざわざなにかを買ってきてくれるケース。とてもありがたく恐縮です。
先日何気なくテレビを見ていると、少し前に異なるゲストさんからいただいたものがとある番組で取り上げられていました。( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MErCnXEg80 )
お土産の袋を開けてあらためて見てみると、それぞれ別のゲストさんからいただいたものですが、なんとどちらも福岡県民の愛する郷土食だったようです。
なんだか宿主よりも、ゲストさんの方がここ福岡のことをよく知っているようで、ただただ感心するばかりでした。
