Sounds noisy on the ground level
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
When we were looking down at the town below, surrounded by PM2.5, with our guests…
it sounds really noisy lately.
The reason is…
Local election.
When I looked at the backgrounds of the candidates mailed to my mailbox, I found that many of them are indirectly related to myself in some way.
This really sounds like a city council election!
It has been a long time since the merits and demerits of “hometown tax” have been debated.
How about giving the people who pay 500,000 yen a year in hometown tax the right to vote, with the condition that they decline to vote at their place of residence registration?
This city is a government-designated city with the most fiscal constraints in Japan, and I think it would be a good idea to take measures to increase the “remote tax paying population”by leapfrogging the “interaction population and “related population.”

なんか下界が騒がしい
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
PM2.５につつまれた下界の町をゲストさんと見下ろしていると、、、
なんか最近めちゃくちゃ騒がしい。
その原因は、、、
地方選挙。
郵便受けに投函された候補者のバックグラウンドを見ていると、なにかしら間接的に自分と関係ある方が多いみたい。
さすがは市会議員選挙！
「ふるさと納税」の功罪が議論されて久しいですが、
いっそのこと年５０万円ふるさと納税した人には、住民票登録地での投票辞退を条件に、選挙権を与えてはどうでしょう？
日本で一番財政の厳しい政令都市でもあるし、ここは「交流人口」「関係人口」を一気に飛び越えて「リモート納税人口」を増やせる施策があっても良さそうに思います。
