Last weekend, the city turned into autumn colors.
I was thinking that there were a lot of slender macho GAIJINs walking around downtown this city in groups.
Preparations for such an event were underway in a park near the castle.
What a world championship! And it’s FREE to view! !
So, on the day of the event, I came back to see what was going on.
Parkour…I have known about its existence from videos since I was in Tokyo, but…
I had no idea that it had evolved into such a competitive sport.
Jump, rotate, pass through…
Go ahead to the castle! I felt that it was a very good location.
Juniors,
Men,
and Women aren’t losing either.
Before the Paris Olympics, I watched an international breaking competition held here in Kitakyushu…
The performance was second to none.
Perhaps because of this, major TV stations are also rushing in from the central Tokyo…
Popular person like him were here to broadcast the tournament.

北九州の秋、スポーツの秋！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
街も秋色に色づくこの週末、
市街地を細マッチョなガイジンさんたちがやけに大勢グループで歩いているなぁと思っていたら。
お城そばの公園で、こんなイベントの準備が進められていました。
なんと世界選手権ですよ！それも観覧無料！！
というわけで、あらためて大会当日、その様子を覗きにやってきました。
パルクール、、、東京にいた頃からその存在は動画を通して知ってはいましたが、
こんなに競技スポーツとして進化しているとは知りませんでした。
跳んで、回転して、くぐって、、、
お城に向かってゴール！なかなかいいロケーションだと実感しましたよ。
ジュニアも、
メンズも、
そして女性陣も負けていません。
パリオリンピック前に、ここ北九州で開催されたブレイキンの国際大会も観戦しましたが、、、
それに勝るとも劣らぬパフォーマンスでした。
そのせいか、メジャーなテレビ局も中央から駆けつけていて、、、
こんな人まで大会中継のため、いらっしゃっていました。
