Cheating to other stores is bad idea
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
This is an episode we experienced on a certain national road.
Just as I was thinking about filling up with gas, I came across an attractive sign.
When I entered the gas station, I noticed that the signboard stated that the price could only be obtained by registering as a new member.
When I tried to register online, I was requested one after another to enter everything from car license plate information to vehicle inspection information.
From the first price display we see, the reality is that we are prompted to enter our personal information and register as a member.
The host hates selling goods and services in such a fraudulent manner, so I immediately left the gas station.
And I decided that I would never stop at that gas station again.
So, after that, I drove with extra care to the usual store.
Their price display facing the road shows the same price as that fraudulent store.
However, when I entered the store, there was a price displayed in front of the self-service gas stand that was 2 yen cheaper.
When I actually tried to refuel, I was able to refuel for an additional 3 yen cheaper.
After all, deceiving customers is definitely not a good idea, and I was truly impressed by the style of providing joy to the customers one after another.
Although we are in a different industry, it was an incident on the national road where we learned the secret of hospitality.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
とある国道での出来事。
ガソリンを給油しようかな、と思ったタイミングで、ちょっと魅力的な看板を見つけました。
そのガソリンスタンドに入ってみると、看板の価格はメンバー登録しないと得られないとの記載。
試しにネット登録しようとすると、車のナンバー情報から車検情報まで入力しろと指示が次から次へと表示されました。
なんか最初に見た価格表示から、現実は個人情報まで入力して会員登録をうながされるという誘導です。
宿主はこういう姑息なやり方で、モノやサービスを売り込むのが一番嫌いなので、即刻そのガソリンスタンドをあとにしました。
そして、二度とそのガソリンスタンドは立ち寄らないと心に決めました。
というわけで、その後いつものお店までがんばって運転すると、、、
道路に向いた価格表示には、あの姑息な店舗と同じ価格。
ところが店に入ると、セルフの給油口前には、さらに２円安い価格が表示されていて、
実際に給油しようとすると、さらに３円安い価格で給油することが出来ました。
やっぱりお客を騙すようなやり方は絶対にダメで、実際にやってきてくれたお客に対してうれしい喜びを次から次へと提供するスタイルに心から感心させられました。
異業種ながら、おもてなしの極意を教えてもらった国道での出来事でした。
