What our guests taught us! – The reason why we decided not to have a baby
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Once upon a time, there were three countries that were adjacent to each other across the ocean.
From the perspective of the people living in the western countries, the people living in those three countries looked almost the same, but for some reason they did not get along well with each other and were almost fighting each other.
However, all three countries that were not on good terms had the same serious problems, and although they once dominated the world economy, all three countries perished.

The reason is that “the child was gone.”
When I took a time machine and went back to 2024, I was able to ask a young couple from the largest of the three countries why this happened.
According to them, although financial reasons were certainly the reason they gave up on having children, that was not the main reason.
Once again, when I asked the main reason…
They answered that the reason for this is “food safety” in their country.
There are concerns about the safety of food imported from countries that are not trusted even by the people of their own country, so we at our guesthouse have decided to take a more strict look at food imported from that country.

わたしたちが子供を作らない理由（わけ） 〜 ゲストが教えてくれたもの♫
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
むかしむかし、海をはさんで隣り合う三つの国があったそうな、、、
さらに西の国に住む人たちから見ると、その三つの国に住む人たちは見た目はほとんど変わらないのに、なぜか互いに仲が悪くていがみ合っていたそうだ。
ところが、仲の悪い三つの国はどの国も同じ深刻な問題を抱えていて、一時は世界の経済を席巻したにもかかわらず、三国ともに滅んでしまったとさ。
その理由は「子供がいなくなってしまった」から。
タイムマシンに乗って2024年に戻ってみると、三国の中の一番大きい国から来た若い夫婦にその訳を聞くことが出来ました。
彼らによると、子供を持つことを諦めた理由は、経済的理由も確かにあるものの、それが一番の理由ではないとのことでした。
あらためて、一番の理由を聞くと、、、
その理由は「食の安全性」だそうです。
自国の国民ですら信頼されていない国から輸入している食材の安全性が不安視されているわけで、当宿でもその国から輸入食品については、今まで以上に厳しい目で見ることにしました。
