The secret and tip of sightseeing at Mt. Fuji

News such as over-tourism problem and fatal accidents before the opening of the mountain are being reported frequently due to the large number of people visiting Mt. Fuji from Japan and abroad.
Tips for sightseeing Mt. Fuji during this season is
First of all, make sure to visit with plenty of time to spare.
Mt. Fuji is very moody and shy, not only during the rainy season. Whether or not it’s a good sightseeing experience really depends on the weather very much.
For example, this time, on the morning after the rain at Lake Yamanaka, I couldn’t see anything due to the clouds and fogs, but as the sun came up, the clouds suddenly cleared.
Also, at Lake Saiko, the mountains could be seen beautifully in the morning glow before the sunrise, but as soon as tourists started arriving, she was hidden by clouds…
So when I gave up to take photo and started eating breakfast, Mt. Fuji reflected in the lake can be seen during my breakfast.
It was amazing how many tourists come to see while Mt. Fuji is hidden behind clouds, then give up and go home!

P.S. I heard news of heavy rain with linear rain bands in Shizuoka, the municipality that owns 1/2 of Mt. Fuji, where I was just two days ago. I do hope there will be no flooding or other damage.

そもそも、富士山観光の秘訣
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
オーバーツーリズムや、山開き前の遭難死亡事故など、国内外から富士山にたくさんの人が訪れているからこそのニュースがまさに今、頻繁に報道されていますが、、、
この時期の富士山観光のコツは、、、
第一に時間に余裕をもって訪れること。
梅雨時期に限らず、富士山はとても気分屋で恥ずかしがり屋。天候に左右されることが本当に多いです。
たとえば、今回、山中湖では雨上がりの朝、ガスって何も見えなかったのが、日がのぼってくると同時に一気に雲が晴れてきました。
また西湖では、日がのぼる前には朝焼けの中にきれいに山が見えていたのに、観光客が来始める時間になった途端に雲に隠れてしまったり、、、
で、しかたなく諦めて朝ごはんを食べ始めると、これまた逆さ富士が現れたり、、、
そんな気分屋の富士山が雲に隠れている間にやって来て、諦めて帰っていった観光客のなんとも多いことか！
それでは、時間に余裕をもってせっかくのチャンスを逃すことのない素敵な一日を！
P.S. ほんの２日ほど前まで、そこにいた富士山の1/2オーナー自治体、静岡で線状降水帯をともなう大雨のニュース。被害がないと良いと祈ります。
