さぁ、夏本番！/ Summer is in the air!

Summer is in the air!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We are in July now. It is the time to enjoy Summer.

I made phone call and checked that it will open TODAY as usual year.

It is my favorite spot of summer in Kanmon.

They instructed me that we should bring and wear musk at pool side, but I know that there are quite few people on weekday.

But I am wondering which to go today.

Yesterday, when I finished applying various benefits and subsidy to government office, I decided to drive to the beach.

And I am sure they are still remaining this morning.

OK. Anyway water is same from same sea whichever I go.

There are fascinating spots in my hometown during hot summer.

さぁ、夏本番！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

７月です。夏です！

電話で確認したところ、例年通り今日からオープンするそうです。

関門、夏のお気に入りスポット。

持ち物にマスクが加わるだけで、元々三密とはほど遠い感染対策万全の素晴らしい環境です。

でも、、、どっち行こうかな？

各種の給付金や助成金の申請が終わった昨日、その足で行ってみたらけっこうこっちが良かったんです。

ずっと穏やかな状態が続いてて、久しぶりに昨日 波が立ったんです。

どうも今日まで残っているみたいだし、、、

ま、いっか、どっちいっても、、、おんなじ海の水なわけだしね！

夏になると、ホットで魅力的な誘惑が多いこの町／我がふるさとです。

それでは、熱くて危険な誘惑には気をつけて、素敵なひと夏を！

Recommended places to visit in current Japan (4)

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Because I missed the beautiful shape of the Mountain of JAPAN, I took a short rest at one of the best view coffee shops in Japan and enjoyed last minutes watching Mt. Fuji.

Do you know where is another spot in Shizuoka you can feel great nature as well as Mt. Fuji?

It is “Pacific Ocean”!

Somebody call the sea “Enshu-nada” but I feel like Pacific Ocean with wide opened beach.

By the way, people living in Tokyo area and Kyushu may not know, but people in pacific ocean side of Japanese coast are preparing for the coming big risk. For example, huge and long long seawall has been constructed around this area.

(As I have visited Sanriku area several times after Great East Japan earthquake, I do think that all Japanese should understand the the reasonably imaginable great risk and possible measures.)

Anyway, I drove to the beach without too big seawall and enjoy surfing first round before sunset.

As a bonus, I drove to the neighbor area in the night and enjoyed second round at the world famous surf spot in Aichi.

(Both spots are popular in central Japan but few people in the beaches and few risk of COVID-19 in weekdays.)

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

あまりに美しい稜線が名残惜しくて、日本で最も景色の良いコーヒーショップの一つでもう一度富士山を堪能して一路西へ！

（こちらのお店、実は高速料金を払わなくても利用できることが分かって、今回の大きな収穫です。）

静岡にはもう一つ自然の雄大さを感じることが出来る場所があります。

それは「太平洋」！

遠州灘という呼び名もありますが、ここはやっぱり太平洋でしょう！

ところで関東や九州に住んでいる人は実感がないと思いますが、今 日本の太平洋側は予期される甚大なリスクに対する備えが進んでいます。
この近辺では巨大な城壁のような防潮堤が延々と続いています。

（三陸の被災地を何度も訪れた自分としては、こうした目前のリスクと対策についてすべての日本人が意識すべきだといつも思います。）

というわけで、防潮堤のない浜名湖西側まで移動して日没前の１ラウンド。

おまけで夜のあいだに愛知まで足を伸ばして、国際的にも有名になったスポットで朝イチ１ラウンド。

(どちらも中部では有名なスポットですが、平日には人もほとんどいなくて感染リスクもほとんどありません。）

フランス戦 対 フランス製！/ French v.s. French!

French v.s. French!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Rugby World Cup is being held in Japan now. I had wanted to watch the game of Wales v.s. France on next Sunday but I abandon to go there with the reason I mentioned in the past article.

On the next day, I decided to revenge.

Not “French team’s game” but I decided to buy a cool “French gear”.

It was a good one I found in recycle shop. It came with hard case and other accessories. It was pretty cheaper than going to watch rugby game (ticket + transportation fee), and I can enjoy with it for next several years.

I tested it on the sea and found that it is fine board on which I can make smooth take off. Attached leash cord got broken at the first ride but there is no other problem.

I think that this is good for repeater guests who want to try surfing next time. We have soft long board and these are good for them to try surfing. So we are excited about going to the beach with them next summer. (Though waves and I do not care about season.)

フランス戦 対 フランス製！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ラグビー・ワールドカップ、この週末のウェールズ対フランス戦、先に記事にした理由で観戦を諦めることにしましたが、、、

諦めた翌日にリベンジ！

「フランス戦」、、ではなくて、代わりに「フランス製」のイケてるギア・道具を買うことにしました。

リサイクルショップで見つけた程度抜群の逸品です。
大きなハードケースその他まで付いてるお買い得品。ラグビー観戦（チケット＋交通費）よりもずいぶん安くて、それでいて、この先数年は楽しめそうです。

早速、海の上でフィールドテストすると、滑り出しスムーズな一本でした。リーシュコード（足とボードをつなぐコード）は経年劣化のせいか、最初のライドで切れてしまいましたが、、、

次に来る時にはいっしょに海に行こう・一度やってみたいと約束しているリピーターゲストさんにも、既にあるソフトボードと併せて使ってもらえそうです。いやいや来年の夏が楽しみです。（北九州の波も自分自身も季節はまったく関係ないのですが、、、）

P.S. なんとこれ、実はかの有名なボールペンメーカーが作った商品だということに、ちょっとだけ驚きました。
