Continuation from last article…

What happened to our guest who were in trouble to find place to eat after that?

The guest abandoned to eat in Fukuoka (Dazaifu – Hakata) and came back to Kitakyushu.

But the branch of the famous ramen shop also had people in line.

So our guest sent us message for help.

And our guest finally made it to dinner after following instructions from us.

The savior was The Restaurant of Kitakyushu.

High ratio of our guests have used there and we recognized that the restaurant is useful even on the New Year Day.

And its presence has become even more valuable.

We are sure that we have a hand-in-hand relationship with the tourism industry in this city, including our guesthouse.

If by any chance it were to disappear, it would be very troublesome for us.

So we do want people who will visit this city and who came back this hometown to visit that restaurant to get fine and reasonable local foods.

Thank you and you have a nice day at the spot representing the area.

P.S. Speaking about the famous franchise in this town, it worked hard even on the New Year Day but serious trouble happened on the third day.

Is something’s wrong in Kitakyushu, Kokura. (We can’t help but think that there might be a fire contractor there as well.)

救世主 現る

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

前回からの続き、、、

元旦に食堂難に陥ったゲストさん、その後どうなったかと言うと、、、

福岡（太宰府〜博多）での夕食を諦めて、北九州まで戻ってこられました。

でも、、、北九州でも かの有名店には行列で入れそうにありません。

というわけで、当宿に助けを求められました。

最終的に、アドバイスに従ってようやく夕食にありつけたのでした。

ゲストさんを救ったのは、ザ・北九州のあのお店！

当宿のゲストさんたちがお世話になる確率は非常に高く、今回元旦でもイケることが分かり、その存在はさらに貴重なものになりました。

きっと当宿をはじめ、市内の観光業とは持ちつ持たれつの関係、万が一でもなくなるととても困る存在です。

北九州を訪問の際は是非に、この町出身の方は必ず帰省の際にはご利用いただきたいフード・スポットです。

それでは、その土地を代表するスポットで素敵な一日を！

追記：有名店の方は元旦も頑張って営業したのですが、正月３日目の災害でこんなことに、、、

北九州小倉、なんかおかしくないか？！（火災請負人でもいるのではないかと思えて仕方ありません） 教訓 まったく活かされてないよね。

Sometimes disappointing!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As one person who came back (?) to this town Kitakyushu, I have been watching my hometown with from a little more objective point of view.

And I sometimes feel disappointing about this town.

For example, it is an event which held last week.

The event named “International” at the beginning of the title.

In comparison with another similar event which had been held till last year, but was held in Saga this year,

時々、ざんねん！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

北九州にUターン(?)してきた一人として、より客観的にふるさとを見続けているのですが、

時折、残念に思うことがあります。

例えば、市内で先週開催されたあるイベントです。

「国際」を冠したイベントではありますが、、、

この町で昨年まで毎年開催されていて、今年から佐賀で開催されるようになったあるイベントと比べて、

友に会いに、、、 / To meet with the friend

To meet with the friend

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

As one exhibition focusing on my friend and his works, who went to the other side spring last year, is being held in this town, I went to see it on Friday.

I like his style of making movies, but I am not enthusiast about them. So I have not seen all his works.

In the exhibition, I found one movie which I am interested in so much. And I think that I want to watch it someday.

I felt excited with the expectation to meet with him again in his movie, which I haven’t seen yet.

友に会いに、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

昨年の春、早くして向こう岸に渡っていった友とその作品に焦点を当てた展覧会が開催されているので、訪ねてみた。

作風は好きだったけれど、それほど熱烈なファンではなかったので、全ての作品に触れてきたわけではなかった。

今回紹介されていた作品の中にすごく惹かれるものがあったので、いつか見てみたいと思った。

また彼に会えるかもしれない期待になんだかワクワクしてきた。
