Local production for local consumption with local recipe!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I have been wondering about a lot of cabbages in big basket harvested from the field near the beach in this town.

Where would they go? Who would consume them?

The next day, I found them by chance. In the condition with unbelievably cheap price!

One head of cabbage is cheaper than a bag of bean sprouts. Before purchasing one, I checked the quality and I saw the cut section looked juicy and fresh. I was convinced that they are all best buy.

As I got specialty product of this town, I decided to cook it with a special recipe of this place.

“YAKI-UDON*”!

(*Speciality local food in Kitakyushu)

Remembering that we had cooked it together with our guests.

Cabbage leaves were thick but freshly crispy and the SHIOKAZE Cabbage were cooked very tasty.

地産地消で ご当地バリューメニュー！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この町の浜の直ぐそばの畑で収穫されていた大量のキャベツ。

一体どこに運ばれて、誰が消費するんだろう、漠然と疑問に思っていましたが、、、

実はあのあとすぐに、偶然見つけました。それも信じられない値段！

キャベツ一玉、もやしより安いっ！少し不安になったので切り口などチェックしましたが、とってもみずみずしくて新鮮、間違いなく買いです。

せっかくのご当地キャベツ、作るならやっぱりご当地メニューだろうと作りました。

焼きうどん！

海外からのゲストさんたちと一緒によく作ったなぁと思い出しながら、、、

肉厚でシャキシャキの歯ごたえなのに柔らかな口当たりで、、、潮風キャベツ本当に美味しくいただきました。
