At the end of last year, the only one amusement park “Space World” has gone.
Unfortunately, it seems that another fine sightseeing spot will be closed at the end of this year.
When we checked the time table of free shuttle bus to go there for our guest, we found this announcement.
“Ajisaino-Yu” will be closed end of this month.

They say that temporary closing but they also say that they will refund coupon ticket which their guests cannot use. There is no information when they will reopen it. They say that the reason of closing is aging of the facility. And I noticed that owner of the facility is the city of Kitakyushu.
As “Ajisaino-Yu” is popular spot among the guests who stay in this guesthouse, we feel very disappointed with this announcement. This means that there will be no natural hot spring facility in Kitakyushu city. We really want it to be reopened soon.
Officers are keep saying “we are focusing INBOUND market”. So we want them to make effort, no no making effort is not concrete. We want to see
effective strategy with sensitive research, fine senses, and user oriented ideas.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
昨年の年末には、この町に唯一のアミューズメントパーク「スペースワールド」がなくなりました。
残念ですが、この年末にも大切な観光資源がもうひとつなくなるようです。
ゲストに近くに天然温泉がないか問い合わせを受けたので、ネットで無料のシャトルバスの時刻表を確認して知りました。
「あじさいの湯」が年内で営業終了ということです。

休館とのことですが、回数券等も払い戻ししてしまう様で、再開予定日についての情報もありません。老朽化が休館の理由らしいですが、施設の所有者が北九州市ということをこの告知で初めて知りました。
ウチのゲストには結構人気の観光スポットなので、本当に残念です。これで市内唯一の天然温泉の自然派露天風呂がなくなってしまうのでしょうか。未来のゲストのためにも再開して欲しいです。
表面的にはインバウンドに対応したいと言っている、北九州市にはもうひと頑張り、いや訳のわからない頑張りは要らないので、アンテナを高く・センスよく・感度良く、知恵を出してほしいものです。
