Hot and humid

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The sky had looked threatening for whole weekend in Kanmon area.

There was no sunshine but very hot and humid.

For a short period of time, we could see small blue sky but it had been cloudy on Sunday after all.

After this gloomy weather, we will have Summer. But we are afraid that it will be more hot and humid.

週末の関門エリアは微妙なお天気、、、

晴れてもないのに異様に蒸し暑い日曜日でした。

一瞬晴れ間がのぞくも、結局どんよりとした一日でした。

この梅雨らしい天気が終われば夏本番ですが、きっと更に暑いんでしょうね。

The final stage of the rainy season

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, we are in the final stage of TSUYU (rainy season) now.

Yesterday, debris flood happened in IZU peninsula, west of Tokyo area.
Police dept. Fire dept. and Selfdefense force are searching for the people in the mud.

We also had rain here in Kanmon area and will have more rain this week.

We hope no more victim of water hazard in the rest of TSUYU season.

梅雨の最終盤

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本は今、梅雨の最終盤です。

昨日は東京の西方にある伊豆半島で土石流が起こりました。
警察・消防・自衛隊が必死で犠牲者の捜索にあたっています。

ここ関門エリアでも雨が降り、まだこれから今週ずっと雨の予報です。

残りの梅雨の期間でこれ以上の犠牲者がでないことを心から祈ります。

We often see this kind of situation.

There are many enthusiasts who has heavy duty cameras and video cameras in last weekend.

This is a special spot known for those in the know. It is only 5min from this guesthouse.

I saw what they were waiting for this.

(As I was so curios that I stopped my car at different place and confirmed it.)

A little guesthouse TOUKA welcome railway photo-taking enthusiasts, railway riding enthusiasts and any other enthusiasts who love traveling.

How about waking up in the morning, listening sound of railroad crossing and train passing, in addition to the horn from ships.

We saw hot enthusiasts even on weekdays.

朝、遠くから聞こえる踏切と電車の音、そして船の汽笛を聞きながら目覚める旅、どうでしょう？
