A Happy New Year!

A Happy New Year to the World and Kanmon!

The very first event of new year in Kanmon area is

the Count down Fireworks.

As many people were expected the event area and we didn’t need to accompany with our guests, we enjoyed fireworks with distance from the event space and enjoyed horns from ships in the strait brew at the time of new year started.

The count down fireworks are pretty good event, because there is no traffic jams on the way to and back there.

We do recommend you to experience the event here at next new year eve 2023.

流石に会場では人混みが予想されたのと、今年はゲストさんとご一緒しなくて良かったので、少し離れた場所から、年明けの瞬間に鳴り響く船の汽笛重視で楽しませていただきました。

行き帰りの道路が混むわけでもはなく、とてもいい年越しのイベントです。

是非、来年2023年への年越しはここ関門エリア、、、オススメです。

There are some objections and exchange students living in Japan are surprised at it, but

The specialty of Japanese Christmas celebration is Chicken.

Lately, we see fireworks somewhere around straits every weekend.

We could see the fireworks on Christmas day.

Because of the arrival of a cold wave, freezing cold wind was blowing around Japan. So we enjoyed watching fireworks from inside warm room.

日本のクリスマス・関門のクリスマス

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

異論もあるし、留学生も驚くようです（結構当宿でも話題にあがりました）が、、、

日本のクリスマス名物はやっぱり チキン です！

最近では日本が誇るコンビニ各店でもイチオシの取り扱いです。

そして、さらにここ関門のクリスマス名物は、、、

花火です！

ここのところ毎週末どこかで上がっています。

クリスマスの12月25日にも確認できました。

寒波到来により凍てつく風が吹きすさぶ天候だったので、当宿オススメの室内からの花火鑑賞となりました。
（電線が多少邪魔でしたが、凍えるよりは良かったようです。）

Thanks and expectations

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was the Labor Thanksgiving Holiday yesterday but we had strong north wind whole day in Kanmon area.

The wind brought rain and it rained intermittently.

In between the rain, we had sunshine sometimes.

And when we thought it got brighter, we had a beautiful rainbow in the direction of the port.

We may have something good?

We have seen rainbows very often in this month. Though it is cold here but it seems like the rainbow state, Hawaii.

勤労感謝の祝日、関門エリアはつよい北風に見舞われました。

風に乗ってやってくるにわか雨も断続的に降りました。

その雨の合間に天気雨のような瞬間が訪れて、

パッと明るくなったかと思うと、港の方向にきれいな虹が浮かび上がりました。

今月は虹がよく現れる関門です。寒いけれど、レインボーステイト、ハワイみたいです。
