Perfect weather for an outing

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Thank you to all the workers for your hard work.

Thursday, yesterday was “Labor Thanksgiving Day” holiday in Japan.

We are curious how did the workers spend that holiday.

It may be because of wonderful weather with temperature high at 23 degree C,

we saw a bunch of people got together at one event space.

It was really impressive that people stand in line for food events even on holidays.

Some people are enjoying four day holiday, aren’t they? What will they do for next3 days?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

勤労者のみなさん、お疲れさまです。

昨日11月23日（木曜）は、日本では「勤労感謝の日」の祝日でした。

勤労者のみなさんはそんなおやすみ、どう過ごされたのでしょうか？

朝から天気も良く、気温もお昼で２３度まで上がる陽気だったからでしょうか

ちょっと立ち寄ったイベントスペースではお昼前からすごい人出でした。

おやすみまで列に並んで、お疲れさまです。

きっと休まれる人は日曜日までずっとお休みですよね。なにされるんでしょう？

Thanks and expectations

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was the Labor Thanksgiving Holiday yesterday but we had strong north wind whole day in Kanmon area.

The wind brought rain and it rained intermittently.

In between the rain, we had sunshine sometimes.

And when we thought it got brighter, we had a beautiful rainbow in the direction of the port.

We may have something good?

We have seen rainbows very often in this month. Though it is cold here but it seems like the rainbow state, Hawaii.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

勤労感謝の祝日、関門エリアはつよい北風に見舞われました。

風に乗ってやってくるにわか雨も断続的に降りました。

その雨の合間に天気雨のような瞬間が訪れて、

パッと明るくなったかと思うと、港の方向にきれいな虹が浮かび上がりました。

いいことあるかな？

今月は虹がよく現れる関門です。寒いけれど、レインボーステイト、ハワイみたいです。

冬の匂い / Smell of Winter

Smell of Winter

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

My prayers seem to have been answered and there was sunshine on Japanese Labor Thanksgiving holiday.

We thought that our guests scheduled to check-in the day can come easy with sunny weather. However it was very very windy. As the result , temperature of Kanmon area could not go up enough.

To survive such cold days, we started to use this.

A small kerosene heater!

Not like a electric air conditioner, it make us become warm from inside.

Of course, with energy save mode!

As dining room of TOUKA is not so wide, this small heater is enough warm.

Faint smell of kerosene heater is smell of winter in my memory.
I can also feel like in a mountain lodge.

冬の匂い

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

前日の祈りが通じて、勤労感謝の祝日は青空を望む天気になりました。

これでチェックイン予定のゲストも気持ちよく来れると思ったら、、、
風がビュービュー吹いて、結局、関門エリアの気温は上がらずじまいでした。

そんな寒い季節を乗り切るために、今週から登場しました。

「石油ストーブ」 （＊ファンヒータではありません。）

エアコンとは違い、芯から温まる暖かさです。

もちろんエネルギー・セーブで！

「灯火」のダイニングは狭いのでこれでも十分温かいんです。

ほのかなストーブの匂いはまさに冬の匂い。
良く言えば山小屋の雰囲気でしょうか。
