First landing in Japan, at this town
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
We went to see the event!
We are surprised that our home town has power to hold such a global sports event!
As I felt such surprise when the event was announced last year, so we got tickets.
The tickets we got were:
“DAY1 Qualification, Feb. 24 (Fri)” (Open 9:30, Start 10:00, Est.Finish time 21:00)
The cost of ticket, competition time, and our business (we have to host our guests in the weekend) are some of the reason, but the true reason was:
that I wanted to feel the expansion of player population in the world of this sports event, newly added into dance sports.
After I took a look at the countries of the qualifying participants, I realized the meaning of becoming an official event in the Olympics.
I could see various players from various countries and feel their fever from actual matches, and I relaxed and watched the final matches on TV.
Because I did see the qualification live at actual competition venue, I could feel the value of the title of the winners even through TV monitor.
In addition, I enjoyed difference of stage layout between qualification and final, top players’ letting the tension out at qualification, close distance from the athletes (athletes who lost in qualifications sit next to us in same bleachers) and so on.

日本初！この街で開催
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
行ってきました。
こんなグローバルなスポーツ・イベントを開催する力がふるさとにあるなんて！
昨年、開催が発表された際、そんな驚きからチケットをゲットしてみました。
で、ゲットしたチケットは？
もちろん「予選（DAY1）2月24日（金曜日）」（開場9時30分 開始10時 終了予定21時00分）
週末には自らがおもてなししなくてはならないのと、チケットのコスト、開催時間もその購入理由ですが、真の理由は、、、
あらたにダンススポーツとして位置付けが明確になったこの競技の予選に参加する世界の若者の裾野の広がりを感じたかったから。
実際に予選参加者のお国を見てみて、オリンピックで正式種目になるってこういうことなんだ、と実感しました。
ひと通り、予選で顔ぶれと競技熱とを直に感じれたので、決勝はゲストのチェックインまでテレビでゆっくりと！
予選を見たからこそ勝者が勝ち取ったタイトルの価値を、テレビを通してでも感じることができました。
予選・決戦でステージレイアウトが違うことや、上位選手の予選前半の力の抜き具合、予選ならではの選手との距離感（敗退した選手たちの中で観戦）、なども楽しめました。
