When I open the curtain,

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

When I open the curtain of the guest room,

I found there was snow country out of the window.

(But it was a just port town a few hours before.)

How will it be later (heavy snowfall area or back to a normal port town)? We are looking forward to tomorrow, aren’t we?

そこは雪国でした。（木曜日午後〜夕方時点）ホワイトアウトしそうなぐらい降りました。

さあ、これがどうなるか（豪雪地帯になるか？それともいつもの港町に戻るのか？）夜が明けるのが楽しみです。

The most precious thing!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The weather of Kanmon area was sunny and moderate in this weekend.

However, according to the weather forecast, it will get bad weather all over Japan this week. Even this Fukuoka pref. will have pretty much snow in the middle of this week.

So, the most precious thing for us is sunshine now.

This weekend, we dried guests’ FUTONs under the precious sunlight.

Warm sunshine make them soft and dry in an hour.
We hope that our guests will enjoy comfortable sleep by them.

Forecasted snow fall makes us very nervous.
We wonder how much it will snow this week?
We are hoping that snow won’t prevent guests from climbing up steep road toward TOUKA.

今、いちばん貴重なもの！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

週末の関門エリアはうららかに晴れて、暖かく穏やかな陽気でした。

天気予報によると、今週は全国的に荒れ模様、これから一気に冷え込んで、週の中程にはここ福岡でも雪が降るということです。

そんなわけで、今もっとも貴重なのはお日様、陽の光です。

この週末の日中、「灯火」では貴重なお日様の下にゲスト用の布団を干しました。

小一時間もすると布団はふかふかに。これからいらっしゃるゲストに快適な睡眠を楽しんでもらえると思います。

とはいえ、心配されるのは降雪の程度。
いったいどれだけ降るでしょうか？
「灯火」に向かう坂が登れなくなるようなことにならなければ良いと祈っています。

それでは、たとえ雪が降っても交通は乱れない快適な一日を！
