GAIJIN point of view, SHOWA point of view

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Because of my job, I tend to go to various places in this country from GAIJIN （foreigner’s) point of view.

But this time, I visited this spot and tried this food from SHOWA Japanese point of view.

With one bowl costs 300 yen, I was able to immerse myself in the Showa era mood.

ガイジン目線、昭和目線

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

職業柄、どうしてもガイジン目線でいろんなところに行ってしまいがちですが、、、

今回は日本人の、それも昭和の目線で行ってみたかったところ、食べてみたかったものにアプローチしてみました。

アドヴェント / Advent

Advent

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I have felt strange for a long time about 

that Japanese people start feeling about Christmas too early with illumination lights and Christmas tree. Even though we are not Christian.

I asked my friend living in Germany and he advised me the key word “Advent”!

So the manager of TOUKA has started preparing Christmas since last week

with packing chocolates and cookies in bunch of plastic bags for kids in a orphanage.

Yesterday, we went there, play together and decorate Christmas tree with the kids.

It was hard works to prepare for that, but we didn’t feel that with thinking about smiles of children. 

Furthermore, we surely know that our efforts are definitely rewarded.

アドヴェント

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ずっとずっと感じてきたこと。

なんか日本ってイルミネーションやらツリーやらクリスマス気分になるの異様に早くない？クリスチャンでもないのに、、、

ドイツに駐在している友人に本場欧州事情を確認すると、、、

キーワードは「アドヴェント」！

ということで「灯火」宿主のクリスマス気分はジャスト先週からスタートしています。

施設の子供たちのために駄菓子をしこたま袋詰めして、週末には子供たちとふれあって、ツリーを一緒に飾ってきました。

大変な作業も、子供たちの笑顔を思い浮かべながらやると、意外と苦になりません。

さらにいうと、その努力が報われることが分かっているから、、、

それでは、弱い立場の誰かのために素敵な一日を！

今年は暖冬？/ Will we have warm winter this year?

Will we have warm winter this year?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This is the frequently hearing question.

Weather forecasters explain various things depend on the TV station he/she belongs.

However, one thing I can say for sure is 

that coastal sea water temperature is warmer than usual year.

It is said that the sea season is two months later every year,

but even so, I really feel that it is warmer than usual.

今年は暖冬？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

最近よく聞く疑問です。

天気予報では、放送される局によっていろいろ言っていますが、、、

確実に言えるのは、沿岸の海水温がずいぶん温かいということ。
