Pretty Big Lemonade

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I mentioned about subsidy on the previous article.

After posting the article, I noticed that all of the applications were approved and none of them was rejected.

Specially the subsidy I got approved when I prepared to start guesthouse business was big amount of money. The main objective of subsidy is to subsidize, however it is difficult to prepare required documents. (But I love making business plans. It is so fun.)

So I do want to utilize this skill and experience for somebody who will prepare application.

It may be because of my age that I feel uncomfortable for Cloud Funding which will gather a lot of supporters’ money. So our main fund comes from subsidy. Because we heard there is not a few fundraisers who abandon his/her project certain time after collecting money. I, personally, do not want to take the risk of betraying supporters’ expectation and warm hearts.

If there are someone who have same feeling and want some help to prepare application for a subsidy, please visit this guesthouse. We try to support with our experience.

かなり大きなレモネード

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

前回の記事で助成金申請の話をしました。

投稿した後で分かったのですが、これまで色々な助成金を申請してきて、一度も承認されなかったことがないことに気が付きました。

特に前職を早期退職してすぐ、起業のために申請した助成金ではずいぶん大きな金額を承認いただきました。助成することが目的の助成金とはいえ、実際申請するにあたってはどの助成金も書類等を準備するのは大変です。（でも「事業計画書」作りは楽しいですよ。）

このスキルと経験ですが、できれば人のために活用したいなぁと感じています。

年齢のせいか、ひと様のお金を集めるスタイルの資金集めには抵抗があって、当宿は助成金と借金がメインです。集めたまではいいものの、途中で事業を辞めてしまうプロジェクトも少なくないそうで、せっかくの支援や想いを裏切ってしまうリスクに少なからず抵抗を感じてしまいます。

もし同じような感覚を持って、助成金にチャレンジしてみたい人がいれば、是非いらしてください。アドバイスなどさせていただきます。

How to make fruitful lemonade!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Cold lemonade tastes good on hot summer day, doesn’t it?

But this is not an article about the recipe to make lemonade .

There is an English proverb that “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

The most suitable Japanese translation of this proverb is “転んでもただでは起きない (I never wake up without getting any money, when I fall down.)”

In this proverb, sour lemon means difficulty, like COVID-19 infection now. This lemon may be bitter rather than sour. So, what is the honey or sugar to make lemonade?

In the present world, it must be benefits and subsidy.

There are various benefits and subsidy in Japan, not only 100,000JPY “Special Cash Handout” and “Subsidy Program for Sustaining Businesses”. We think that now is the time to start preparing toward new business style with COVID-19 infection, utilizing such money at least.

There’s no reason we don’t make use of it. With getting one subsidy, we could obtain emergency power supply for future disaster.

We may be able to find more benefits and subsidy, if we look for more carefully. Or new benefits and subsidy will be announced. How about trying to find suitable benefits and subsidy for your future lifestyle under coexist with COVID-19?

美味しいレモネードの作り方！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

酷暑には、冷えたレモネード、、、美味しいですよね。

今回の話題はそのレモネードの作り方ではありません。

英語の諺（ことわざ）に “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” というのがあるそうです。

その意味は、、、人生がすっぱいレモンを与えるならば、そのレモンでレモネードを作りなさい、が直訳で、一番適当な日本語訳は「転んでもただでは起きない」となります。

つまり、今起きている新型コロナウイルスの感染はレモン、それもかなり苦味の強いレモンです。ではそこからレモネードを作るためのはちみつや砂糖ってなんでしょう？

そう、給付金や助成金です。

定額給付金や持続化給付金だけでなく、今日本国内では様々な助成金・給付金があります。そんなお金を上手く使ってワンランク上の環境づくりをするのは、ウィズ・コロナの新しい生活様式のための必要最低限の準備ではないでしょうか？

そんな有り難くも貴重な資源を活用しない手はありません。おかげで当宿ではかねてより欲しかった非常用の電源設備を安価に手に入れることが出来ました。

探せばまだまだ使える助成金はありそうですし、これからも出てきそうです。在宅勤務で出来た時間を活用して自身にあった助成金探しなんてどうでしょう？

天は自ら助くる者を助く。大事なのは、こうした助成金は自ら動かないことには、手に入れることは出来ないという認識です。
個人的にはレモネードでは飽き足らず、さらにレモンスカッシュにしたいと考えています。

猛暑も使って、より安心・安全な施設に / To be safer facility with utilizing even summer sunshine!

To be safer facility with utilizing even summer sunshine!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Here in Kanmon area, temperature is over 30 degree C even in the morning everyday. Sunlight is also strong and we imagine that we will have very hot summer again this year.

On such hot day, equipments which we are waiting for arrived at this guesthouse. They are pretty big equipments.

These have been on our wishlist for years, because we have seen a lot of local area in Japan got suffered critical damage by natural disasters, such as earthquake, flood, typhoon and so on. This time, we could order and obtain them with getting a certain support.

Not only COVID-19, but also natural disasters are the biggest fear for Japanese people now. So, from safety and security point of view, we want to be a strong facility against such disasters, as well as an eco-friendly guesthouse in this local town.

猛暑も使って、より安心・安全な施設に

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

関門エリア、毎日午前中から３０度を超える猛暑です。日差しも強くて、今年もとても暑い夏になりそうです。

さて、そんな暑い夏、抜群のタイミングで当宿に待望の機材が届きました。届いたのはちょっと大きな荷物です。

毎年訪れる自然災害に、ずっと手に入れたいと考えていた機材です。今回、あるきっかけで手配・入手することが出来ました。

新型コロナウイルスだけでなく、自然災害も猛威を振るっている日本国内です。これからもエコであると同時に、災害にも強い、地域の安心・安全の拠点として機能していきたいと考えています。
