A show for the first time in a long time! Homecoming?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We have rarely watch passenger ship’s night cruise since COVID-19 pandemic.

Our guest found it going through the strait with bright lights.

Is this one of the results of relaxing lockdown measures?

We do hope to see such scene more often here.

P.S. This ship was built by the ship builder on the other side of the strait.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

コロナ感染拡大以来あまり見られなくなった、夜の客船航行。

ひさしぶりに光かがやく船体が東に流れていくのをゲストさんが見つけてくれました。

これも感染が落ち着いてきたことの影響でしょうか？

こんな光景をもっとみたいですね。

P.S. ちなみにこの船、２年ほど前に対岸の造船所で建造された船です。

Is this rainy season? A little blue hydrangea blooming time.

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We have rain in Kanmon area for the first time in a while.

It rained a lot this time.

Because of the rain, our hydrangeas are vital again with plenty of water.

In such timing, my father, who has been hospitalized for a while, was transferred to another place.

He was transferred to an aged welfare nursing home in this town.

There are also hydrangeas are blooming in the flowerbed of the nursing home.

Since then, I have felt a little blue as much as the color of the hydrangea.

Before I came back to this home town, I have considered and prepared for such situation, However once it becomes reality, I cannot help feeling depressed.

雨のシーズン到来？ちょっと沈鬱な紫陽花の季節

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

久しぶりに関門エリアに降った雨。

けっこうまとまった雨量です。

おかげで当宿のあじさいは水を吸い上げて元気になりました。

そんなタイミングで体調を崩して入院していた父が転院することになりました。

移った先は高齢者介護施設。

その施設の花壇にも満開のきれいな紫陽花が、、、

花の色ぐらいにブルーな気分の今日このごろです。

こんなことも考慮・覚悟の上でのＵターンですが、いざ現実になると気が滅入ります。

Wind velocity 4 meters at an altitude of 400 meters

As I have lived here for about 6 years, even wind get visible now.

Wind velocity at ground level is 2 meters or less,

but there is pretty hard north wind blowing at an altitude of 400 meters.

I may be because cold front is approaching.

It seems that we will have the long-awaited rain soon. (Early this morning, it really started to rain here.)

I am not sure that it is useful or not, but my thoughts often to future weather, watching west sky everyday.

上空４００ｍ 北の風６ｍ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここに６年もいると、風も見えてきます。

地上では風速２ｍにも満たない微風ですが、

上空４００ｍでは、北風がそこそこ吹いています。

前線が近づいてきているせいでしょうか。

待ちに待った雨がやってきそうです。（なぁんて思っていたら、本当に降ってきました。）

役に立つかどうか分かりませんが、毎日西の空を眺めながら天気に思いを馳せています。
