Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Unfortunately it was rainy Sunday morning.

But we heard engine sound of helicopter from the sky.

It seems that the leading group is approaching to this town.

However we decided to cheer runners from this guesthouse.

It is not because of rain. Our guests, who had planned to join the Marathon race got some troubles on their foot and lower-back, abondon to run this time and got relaxed here.

It were unfortunate for them couldn’t run the race but they all sweared to come here again and will finish the race.

It is exciting for us to have chances to host them again in future.

P.S. It was good experience for us to see the end of the race and the accommodation bus for the next time for us to cheer our runner guests in future.

日曜の朝、あいにくの雨。

なのに、しばらくすると上の方からヘリコプターのエンジン音。

マラソンのトップ集団が近づいてきたようです。

ですが、今年の応援はココ宿から！

雨だからではないですよ、マラソン大会参加のためにいらっしゃった当宿のゲストさんが、みなさんレース前に足や腰を故障されてしまい、残念ながら出走できずに、宿で待機していたからです。

走れなかったのは残念ですが、みなさんリベンジを誓われていました。

宿にとってはリベンジの際にまたお会いする機会ができるのがとても楽しみです。

P.S. 今回マラソンの最後尾がどうやってきて、どうレースが切り上げられるかもココから見れました。そんなことも含めて、将来ランナーゲストさんを応援する時のための勉強・参考になりました。

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the past article, I reported about both rapidly growing Fukuoka-city and this declining Kitakyushu finally started cooperating each other under the new mayor of this city.

A TV drama was broadcasted limited in Kyushu and Okinawa area lately that people in these two ordinance-designated cities, which have gotten along, made ideal marriage and created original music culture of Fukuoka pref.

As it is the birth story of a legendary rock band, famous all over this country, I want people who are planning to travel to Fukuoka, as well as rock’n roll lover, watch this drama.

Such drama is under online delivery now, however the delivery deadline will be this afternoon!

If you have never watched it, please try it.

Program promotion doesn’t tell but this is rerun of the drama produced five years ago for mourning.

Both singer and guitarist has died. They were couple. The program was produced after singer’s death and this rerun was decided after the guitarist’s death. 

Recently I have felt like my favorite artists who have similar smell of Fukuoka have been dying one after another. So I am enjoying this online delivery several times.

福岡と久留米と北九州のマリアージュ 〜 九州以外でも知ってほしい

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

赤丸上昇中の福岡市と我が北九州市とが新市長のもとようやく手を結ぶことになりそうなことは先に書きましたが、、、

そんな仲の悪い政令市の人間が、これぞ福岡県人という理想的なMarriageをテーマにしたドラマが九州・沖縄限定で放映されました。

全国区でもご存じのバンドの誕生ストーリーなので、ロック好きにはもちろん、福岡を旅しようとしている人には是非知って欲しいですね。

そんなドラマがネット配信中。ただし、その配信期限は本日午後まで！

見たことのない方は是非に。

番宣には記載ありませんが、実はこの番組は追悼目的の再放送。

伝説のボーカルとギタリストが次々に他界し、そのタイミングで製作、今回再放送されました。

自分の好きな福岡の「匂い」がする人がどんどん逝ってしまうこの頃、哀愁を感じながらネット配信味わいます。

震災後の東日本に似てて、、、/ It looks like just after the earthquake

It looks like just after the earthquake

About the UDON stand, I reported in the previous article.

Yes, the new UDON stand locates in the TANGA Market, suffered two major fires in half year.

I visited the market after a long time.

The west side of main street in the market was on business like used to be.

However majority of east side of the street was covered by temporary enclosure. That made me feel complicated.

That feeling reminds me the feeling when I saw location of a disaster during volunteer activity 12 years ago.

The feeling I had when local person taught me “There was no damage on this side of the street, but other side was swept away by the TSUNAMI and many people were died”

There was a very fine line between damaged area and no damaged area in Oofunato and Kesennuma.

By the way, Tanga market has had own redevelopment plan since before two big fire. According to the plan, the first new market building seems to be open in next year FY2024.

We hope that their project advance ahead of schedule and the stores damaged in two fires will re-start their businesses in the new building of the project.

( P.S. We can never say that there is zero risk that disaster happens. Tanga market had big fire twice in last year, So most important thing is awareness of disaster prevention.

ひとつ前の記事のうどん屋さん、、、

そう、旦過市場です。ご名答！

久しぶりに行ってきました。

市場では通りの西半分は以前のように普通に営業されてて良かったなと思いながら、

東半分は建設用の狩囲いで覆われていて、そのギャップに複雑な気持ちになりました。

この気持ち、東日本大震災の被災地にボランティアに行った時、

「この通りからこっちは大丈夫だったけど、そっち側は津波で流されて多くの人が亡くなったんだよ」と聞いた時の感覚にとても似ています。

大船渡や気仙沼でも被災部分と被災しなかった部分とは紙一重でした。

ところで旦過市場については、元々再整備される予定があって、来年令和６年度から順次整備完了していく計画みたいです。

前倒しするぐらいの意気込みで再整備が進み、今回被災した店舗も早く新しいビルで営業できると良いですね。

P.S.  とはいっても、絶対に起こらないとは言えないわけで（旦過市場では実際に二度も火災も起きているし）、やっぱり大事なのは防災意識なんでしょうね。
