Disappointing Local City
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
In this country, Japan, we think November as artistic and cultural month.
Our favorite artistic event had been held in this town till last year.
However, in this year, only one small show was held and main event seems to transfer to another city in Kyushu.
Last weekend, I drove around the event space because I wonder if the event might be on going just without public notification. But there was nothing on going there.
Actually, not only this event, but also one of our favorite sports event had been transferred to another Asian city.
It seems that the action from inviting the event to first held in Japan has been nice, but there is not a few event taken by the other cities a few years later.
This city seems not to be good for the events with the word “International”.
People has told “Continuity is the father of success”. Conversely, it means that the organization which cannot continue any event has no chance to success, doesn’t it ?

P.S. We do hope to see the international competition of Breaking next year and further years.

ざんねんな地方都市！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ここ日本では11月は芸術・文化の月になります。
実は当宿のあるこの町では昨年まで３年間、11月に楽しみの文化的イベントが開催されていました。
ところが今年2023年はメンツを保つだけのショーが一つ開催されただけで、
核心のイベントは佐賀の町にもっていかれたようです。
先の週末、もしかしたら告知されていないだけで、イベントやっているのかもと思い、遠回りして会場の前を通ったりしてみましたが、跡形もありませんでした。
実はこれまでも、楽しみにしていたスポーツイベントがアジアの別の都市に持って行かれたりと、
誘致から国内初開催という流れまでは良いのですが、数年持たずにこの町での開催がなくなってしまうイベントが少なくありません。
どうもInternational という冠がつくイベントに弱いみたいです。
継続は力なり、とは言いますが、逆に言うと、継続できないのは、力がないということでしょうか？
