On the day the war ended

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In Japan, today, August 15th, is thought as the anniversary of the end of the Pacific War.

On such day, we think of the people in the war just now.

We do not like to see any people and any solders are killed in the war.

We do hate any violence and murder, but we hope just one person like Tetsuya Yamamoto in the country which provoke the war, because no argument is working on the earth to stop the war.

Minimum victim to stop the war is mostly needed for the peaceful future too.

終戦の日に想う

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

日本では今日８月１５日は太平洋戦争の終戦記念日とされています。

そんな日に、今なお戦火の中にいる人たちのことを想います。

市民やたとえ兵士であっても人が戦争で死ぬのはもう見たくありません。

暴力や殺人には絶対反対の立場ですが、戦争を仕掛けた方の国に山上徹也のような人が一人いたら良いのにと思います。それは、もはやどんな議論をしても戦争を止められなくなっているから。

このままではさらにウクライナ市民、ウクライナ兵、ロシア兵の命が奪われてしまいます。

平和な未来のためにも、これ以上の戦争犠牲者は最小限に留めなくてはなりません。

それでは、どうぞ平和の元で素敵な一日を！

Japan has been the trend reader, isn’t it?!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In view of the times, I have considered about how we should reflect on the war.

At such time, I have been hearing news which I’ve heard it somewhere.

It was about that both Russia and Ukraine are blaming each other as the attacker of nuclear power plant.

A similar story came to my mind, which happened about 90 years ago. I think that Japanese knows about it.

Yes, it is the Manchurian Incident. Japanese army blamed its own attacks on others and made excuse to invade.

Marco Polo Bridge Incident, happened several years later, also had similar background.

It was the point nobody should follow from Japanese (army).

I was shocked very much, when I learned lately that Islamic suicide bomber also have Japanese origin.

It was the point nobody should follow from Japanese (red army).

Human beings tend to imitate things that shouldn’t be imitated. I want to know why.

By the way, which do you think more cunning and cruel, Russian Army or Imperial Japanese Army?

ちゃんと歴史に学んでる！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

時節柄、戦後の反省の仕方について考察を深めてきましたが、、、

そんな時、テレビから聞こててくるのは、

どこかで聞いたような話。

原子力発電所への攻撃を相手のせいにしようとしているニュースでしたが、

似たようなこと、90年ほど前にあったことを日本人なら知っているのではないでしょうか？

そう、満州事変。自らの攻撃を相手のせいにして、攻め込む言い訳づくりをする。

その数年後に起きた盧溝橋事件もまた似たような経緯を持ちます。

そこ、日本（軍）から学んでは／真似しちゃいけないところなんですけど。

イスラム勢力のテロでよく用いられる手段「自爆テロ」もまた、起源は日本いると最近知って驚きました。

そこ、日本（赤軍）から学んでは／真似しちゃいけないところなんですけど。

真似しなくていいことは真似する、、、どうしてなんでしょうね？

ところで、ロシア軍と旧日本軍、どっちがより狡猾で残虐だと思いますか。

それでは、他がやっている良いことだけを取り入れて素敵な一日を！

The Japanese secret weapon!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We have thought that this area, Kanmon, has been succeeded to escape from disaster.

But it seems to have fire disaster again. Everyone, please take care for man-made disasters too.

Speaking of man-made disasters, the worst one must be the war.

So I have tried to visit particular sightseeing spots where normal Japanese don’t visit.

That is “War Museum” of each town in the world.

It is very interesting for me, because I can get multifaceted perspective about modern history.
(* For example, in the near area, “T. Stell Newman Visitor Center” in Guam was very interesting. There have been too many Japanese visited Guam, but I don’t think they have visited the center. Honestly, I am curious about “Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders (侵華日軍南京大屠殺遭難同胞紀念館)” but I don’t think I will be able to visit there, because we may not be able to come back from that country.)

The most museums have made me think very seriously toward the war, but there are a few museum with high sense of humor.

I know human torpedo, balloon bomb, bamboo spear and so on. But I didn’t know this secret weapon.

“War (related) Museums” in Asia may be difficult spots for Japanese to visit, but I recommend to visit.

ザ・にっぽんの秘密兵器！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

関門エリア、この夏の自然災害からはなんとか免れていると思っていたら、、、

また火災だそうです。人災にも気をつけましょう。

人災といえば、その極みが戦争！

日本人がよく使う海外ツアーでは行かないところに自分はよく行くようにします。

それは各地の「戦争博物館」。

多角的に近代史に触れることができるのでとても興味深いです。
（*近いところでは、グアム島の T. Stell Newman Visitor Center。多分日本人は行かないと思うけど、結構興味深いです。今後、南京大虐殺紀念館にも行ってみたいけれど、今中国に行ったら色んな意味で帰ってこれなくなりそうですよね。）

深刻に考えさせられる博物館が多いなか、なかにはセンスの良い展示も。

人間魚雷、風船爆弾、竹やり以外にも、、、この秘密兵器は知りませんでした。
