Yesterday was the day of prayer

…while praying, a question that crossed my mind is whether the upcoming New Year’s Day would  be more focused on mourning or celebration.

Yellow carpet by the sea

 
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
 
In the vast field right next to the surf spot in this town,
 
yellow flowers are blooming beautiful now.

What are these flowers?
 
They are rape blossoms, actually cabbage flowers.
 
The flowers are in full bloom in the cabbage field after harvest.
 
Cabbage is also a member of the Brassicaceae family, so it is said that it produces rape blossoms. This was told in a TV program.

海沿いの黄色い絨毯

 
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
 
この町のサーフスポットのすぐ横にひろがる広大な畑では
 
今、黄色い花がきれいです。

何の花？
 
こちら菜の花なんですが、実はキャベツの花です。収穫後のキャベツ畑で満開です。
 
テレビで言ってました。キャベツもあぶらな科ということで「菜の花」を咲かすそうです。

Am I crazy?

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On one weekday without guests’ reservation, we had a little sunshine come between the clouds. So I went to the beach to take a breather.

But foolishly I forgot that

the sea season is two months late.

Although it is a part of Kyushu, this is a beach of the Sea of Japan.

But it seems like I’m not the only crazy, which makes me feel a little relieved.

ゲストのない平日、雲間から少しだけ日差しが見えてきたので、息抜きに行ってきました。

海の季節はふた月遅いということを、、、

九州とはいっても、ここは日本海ですから。

でも馬鹿は自分だけではないようで、ちょっとだけ安心しました。
