Parade of Gray Ships

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Thursday morning, when I open the curtain, I saw one gray ship passing through Kanmon strait.

Just after one gray ship, another gray ship followed the first one.

When I checked my computer, I saw other 2 ships already passed Kanmon strait just before these 2 ships.

Names of ships are, in order of passing,

Hyuga, Shiranui, Makinami and Yuudachi.

Several minutes after their passing, they all disappeared from positioning system map.

What is happening on the sea, during all people are relaxing in four days holiday.

灰色のパレード

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

木曜の朝、カーテンを開けると、、、

灰色の船が、、、

すぐ後を、もう一隻灰色の船が、、、

よくみると、その直前にも二隻海峡を通り過ぎているようでした。

通過した順に、

ひゅうが、しらぬい、まきなみ、ゆうだち、、、

少しすると、４隻とも位置情報から消えてしまいました。

連休に入り、人々が和んでる中で、海の上では何が起きているのでしょう。

Olympic games used to be scheduled to start in this week.

Yes, TOKYO 2020!

What will happen on TOKYO 2020? Will it really start next year?

These picture are about  a competition venue of one athletic event.

Facilities are almost completed as of June, when I visited to try. But we cannot believe such facility will be kept in good condition for one year.

‘Simplified’ Olympic games are being planned lately, but it cost more than budget only to maintain completed facilities or rebuild them.

今週は、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

本来の予定では、今週はオリンピックウィークが始まるタイミングです。

そう、TOKYO 2020！

いったいどうなってしまうのでしょうか？

画像はとある東京オリンピックの会場。先月６月に見に／試しに(?)行ったときのものです。

施設はかなり出来上がっていましたが、こうした施設がこれから一年、放っておかれたまま良い状態を保てるとは思えません。

「東京五輪の簡素化」が叫ばれていますが、出来上がった施設の維持・作り直しだけで膨大な費用を要するように感じました。

それでは、新型コロナウイルスではなく、感動でひとつになる素敵な一日を！

蒸し暑い日にこそ / For Hot and Humid day!

For Hot and Humid day!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It has been very hot and very humid for these days here, in Kanmon area.

We feel blue with thinking that we are going into hotter and more humid days, however let us introduce one perfect spot to escape from summer heat. (We are having more guests with car, so this may be good timing.)

Feet got frozen, we thought when we put our feet in the water. Naturally chilled Japanese food is best for hot summer lunch. We bet your kids will love this place, if you have family to go with.

If you travel by car, you can visit this spot in your half day driving from here TOUKA. There are multiple famous sightseeing spots on area guidebooks around there. So you can combine those spot and make special one day driving tour. You can go to white sand beach after eating this.

Yes, we will have consecutive holidays and summer vacation. Let us make wonderful summer memory 2020 in nature with low risk of COVID-19.

蒸し暑い日にこそ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

関門エリアはここ数日とても蒸し暑くなりました。

これから更に暑くなると思うと気が滅入りますが、最近行った場所が避暑にとても良かったのでご紹介します。
（ここ数ヶ月、お車で利用されるゲストも増えているので、ちょうどよいオススメです。）

足をつけると水は凍るほどつめたく、涼を呼ぶ食事は暑さで細った食欲をそそります。家族連れなら子どもたちが大喜びするのは間違いありません。

車であれば、当宿「灯火」から半日トリップで楽しめるスポットです。こちらの近辺にはガイドブックに載るような地域が誇る観光スポットが複数あって、それらと組合せて日帰り旅行を組んでも楽しいと思います。海の日にちなんで、食後に有名な白砂のビーチに行くことも可能です。

さあ連休です、さあ夏休みです。感染リスクが少しでも低い自然の中で良い思い出づくりをしましょう！
