Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Though we are going into the coldest season soon in calendar, we are having warm day and chill day in turns here in Kanmon area.

According to the forecast, the high for today will be 15 degrees C.

However it will be unfortunate for our weekend guests that it will rain for a while starting today.

Even in such weather, we are preparing diligently to provide our guests with our maximum hospitality.

Actually, it was a sunny day yesterday and I had freshened up, so I feel like I can entertain guests in a good mood.

We are in “Surfing in Sun and Working in Rain” mode this week, not in “晴耕雨読 = Farming in Sun and Reading in Rain” mode.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

もうまもなく大寒というのに、ここ関門エリアは暖寒を繰り返しています。

予報では今日はなんと最高気温15℃です。

でも、週末いらっしゃるゲストさんには生憎ながら、今日よりお天気はしばらく下り坂。

そんな天気の分までしっかりおもてなししようと鋭意準備中です。

実は、、、晴れていた昨日のうちに気分転換もしっかり済ませたので、気分よくおもてなしできそうです。

Happy music, Sad music!

Good morning to the World, Kanmon and work places!

Last morning, a guest muttered in dining, with cup of coffee in his hand.
“Today, this music sounds very sad.”

He is a repeater guest who have stayed here for several days after Obon days.

What? Why? It is same acoustic music with cool guitar and accordion, we play every morning.

He said “it sounded very exciting in the first morning.”
“Sigh…. holidays are over today. And I have to work tomorrow.”

There seems to be blue Monday in the neighbor country.

It was the feeling I have forgotten in these days. But, yes, I knew the feeling.

It is the feeling Japanese lost after “the work style reform”, isn’t it?

So I advised him “We, all Japanese people, refreshed completely in holidays and go back working places with full energy and motivation. Good luck for you!”.

It seems that personal/individual “mind reform toward work style reform” is more important than the reform by the governments and companies.

楽しい曲、哀しい曲！

世界中に朝が、関門にも、そして職場にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

昨日の朝のこと。ダイニングで珈琲を手にゲストがつぶやきました。
「今朝は音楽が哀しく聞こえる。」

お盆後の数日を当宿貸切でご利用いただいたリピーターゲストさんの一言です。

えっ！かけている音楽はいつもと同じ爽やかなギターとアコーディオンのデュオなのに、、？！

彼いわく「最初の朝はウキウキ楽しい音楽だったのにぃ、、、」
「はぁ、今日でおしまい。さらに明日からは仕事っ！」

お隣の国でも連休後のブルーマンデー、あるようです。

最近忘れていた感覚です。でも、あるある、昔自分にもありました。

今や働き方改革の進んだ日本では忘れられた感覚ですね。
「日本人はガッツリ休んだあとは、やる気満点バリバリ仕事するんだよ。頑張ってね！」と励ましておきました。

どうも、社会の仕組みとしての「働き方改革」よりも、個人・自分自身としての「働き方を改革しようとする気持ち」が大事みたいです。
