Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
This article has the title “The way to manage money” but this is not about politicians’ slush funds.
Anyway, the campaign, which local government have been holding for tourists, was very well received by the guests who took advantage of it.
For example, a couple guests, who planned a trip to Kitakyushu this time to celebrate wife’s birthday, used the coupon to buy the birthday present for her. The couple was happy that they were able to reduce their travel expenses by that coupon’s amount.
Then, I suddenly remembered about that shopping spot.
It is the spot, our manager also use almost everyday, and there is one thing that bothers him about the facility.
Which is their rest rooms!
Recycled toilet paper produced by the local government, is used in their rest rooms.
We often see the paper in city hall, public facilities such as city parks, but this is something we don’t often see in private facilities.
Our simple question is, “Why in this huge private facility use it?”
I’ve heard that the local government is giving a lot of money to infrastructure facilities and institutions no matter public or private in this city, so I wonder if it’s this much? I’m starting to get suspicious.
Think carefully, how you use your tax money is very important!

お金の使いみち
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
本件「お金の使いみち」というタイトルですが、政治家の裏金の使途についての話ではありません。
さて、ご当地北九州が実施中のキャンペーン、利用できたゲストさん達には非常に好評です。
例えば、奥様の誕生日に併せて、今回北九州の旅を計画されたゲストさんは、誕生日のプレゼントをショッビングされた際にクーポンが使えたということで、その分旅行の出費を抑えられたと喜んでいました。
で、ふと思い出したのがそのお買い物スポットについて、、、
宿主も毎週のように利用しているスポットですが、その施設で気になることがひとつ。
その場所はトイレです。
こちらのトイレではご当地行政が制作してるリサイクルのトイレットペーパーを使っているんです。
このトイレットペーパー、見かけるのは主に役所や、公共施設、公園で、あまり民間施設では見かけることがない代物です。
「なんでこの巨大民間施設で？」というのが素朴な疑問。
この市内、インフラ系の施設や機関に行政が支援しているお金がかなり大きいと聞いたことがあり、もしやここまで？と疑わしくなってきました。
よ〜く考えよ〜、税金の使いみちは大事だよ〜！
