Beautiful collaboration in the neighborhood

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This year, 2024, it looks like the rainy season will start soon, but it doesn’t happen yet.

We have been making preparations for several years in advance to make this guesthouse for the hosts’ favorite  hydrangeas, rainy season flowers.

Thankfully, even though we didn’t agree, the hydrangeas in this neighborhood were blooming beautifully, and we feel like we are surrounded by hydrangeas specially around this entrance.

Thanks to this situation, we are glad that our guests are also happy with this.

華麗なるご近所コラボ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

梅雨入りしそうで、なかなかしない今年2024年ですが、、、

この時期は宿主の大好きな梅雨の花「あじさい」の宿にしたいと数年前から準備をしています。

ありがたいことに申し合わせたわけでもないのに、ご近所さんでもあじさいがきれいに咲いていて、玄関周りはあじさいに囲まれている感覚になります。

おかげさまでゲストさんにも喜んでもらっていてうれしいばかりです。

ちょっとだけ残念っ！ / A little disappointing!

A little disappointing!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In these days, there have been not a few guests who checked in just after our check-in time started.

It is our pleasure to see our guests enjoy watching the view from guest room with sunlight, taking a break after their check-in and quick facility tour.

We explained them that the sunset is beautiful from here and some guest stayed until sunset, but majority of guests went out for IZAKAYA or Night view,

just after sunset.

However on sunny day, a little whitened sky after sunset often turned bright red in a short while. And that sky is really beautiful.

It is nature thing and we cannot guarantee that the guest can see that beautiful sky. So we hesitate to recommend them to stay in the room till a little while after sunset.

We often think disappointing that guests go out and we see beautiful red sky without any guests.

ちょっとだけ残念っ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ここ最近のゲストさん、チェックイン時間の開始とともにいらっしゃる方が増えてきました。

施設利用法の説明が終わり、一息ついて、しばらくはまだ陽の光があるのでお部屋からの景色を明るいうちにながめていただけるのがうれしいですね。

ここから見る夕日が綺麗なことをお教えすると、結構日没まではのんびりされる方もいらっしゃるのですが、大部分が居酒屋や夜景を見に出かけて行かれます。

日没後すぐに、、、

でも実は晴れた日の日没後すぐの白んだ西の空は、しばらくすると一面真っ赤に染まることが多くその様子がとても綺麗なんです。

自然のことなので、その日どれだけきれいに見れるか確証がなく、日没はともかくそこまでなかなかオススメできません。

ゲストが出かけて行った後に、きれいに染まった空を見ながら、残念だなぁとつぶやくことが多い今日この頃です。

上弦の夕陽 / Waning Sun

Waning Sun

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We still have strong sunshine, but

we start feeling autumn atmosphere a little after sunset.

On Tuesday, setting sun looked like crescent and deep red from here.

By the way, setting point of the sun is shifted to south.

It is still not now but we are afraid that temperature will go down suddenly some time soon.

We are feeling that now may be the most comfortable time, though we still feel very hot so far.

上弦の夕陽

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

まだまだ日差しの強い毎日ですが、

日没を境に少しだけ秋めいてきました。

火曜日、ここから見る日没はまるで半月みたいな形で真っ赤になって沈んでいきました。

そういえば陽が沈む場所もかなり南下してきました。

今はまだ暑いですが、急に寒くなるのでしょうか。

まだまだ暑いと感じる今が実は一番過ごしやすいと感じる今日この頃です。
