Speaking of October

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Several months have passed since movement restrictions due to COVID-19 infection have been lifted.

So we have been preparing for that October event.

As there are not so many kids around here, we may not have opportunities to provide cookies to them. But we are in preparation for Halloween decoration.

( If possible, we would like to decorate this guesthouse with guests. )

We heard that the movement restrictions for Halloween will be implemented in the town of Shibuya. So we want to have fun in a calm atmosphere without getting too flashy.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

新型コロナウィルスに対する行動制限が解除されて久しいこの頃。

せっかくの１０月のイベントを楽しみたいと準備中です。

ご近所には子供が少ないので、お菓子を配る機会は少ないかもしれませんが、ゲストさんには雰囲気を味わっていただきたいとディスプレーを準備中です。

（出来ることならゲストさんと飾り付け出来たりすると良いなぁ、、、）

渋谷あたりでは新型コロナ改め、ハロウィンの行動制限が出ているようですし、あまり派手にならないように落ち着いた雰囲気で盛り上がりたいですね。

When in Kyushu, do as Yassan said!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We got a message with photo.

It was from one of our guests who stayed here in this month and left here for driving around Kyushu.

The photo was taken at Yassan’s favorite spot in these days with great nature of Kyushu.

The guest seems to travel/drive as our advice we talked during her stay.

And the guest mentioned that she like the spot very much!

We have never forced our advice to all guests. If we found that a guest was curious about our travel experiences, we have selected best information from our big stock for that particular guest. That is our style of travel advising.

The guest is adding her curiosity and challenging sprit to advised information. As the result, she could get very delicious and unusual (on the mountain) curry rice which Yassan have never had before.

The guest’s reaction is a great honor as a guesthouse owner.

We do want to communicate/talk with such guests from now on.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

今週滞在して、そののち九州周遊の旅に出かけて行ったゲストさんからでした。

画像は宿主の最近のお気に入り、九州の大自然スポット！

滞在中にココが良いからと絶賛おすすめしたルートに従って、回られているようです。

そしてこのスポットをとっても気に入ったと！

決しておすすめをゴリ押ししているわけではなく、ゲストさんが興味を持たれる方には、数ある旅行体験の引き出しの中から、その人に合うであろうスポットやアクティビティを紹介するのが当宿のスタイルです。

今回のゲストさんは、ここで得た情報に、ご自身の好奇心とチャレンジ魂をプラスして、宿主も食べたことのない美味しいカレーライスにもありつけたようです。

August has come to an end, but it is still hot everyday.

Though weather is very hot, we have kept developing our hospitality with full of energy.

Honestly speaking, we are a little tired of summer, but there is a reason why we able to warmly welcome our guests.

Because,

we as the host enjoys more than our guests.

No matter with or without guests, we are fully enjoying strait like here.

For example, there were days last week we worried about our guests coming late due to typhoon affected train schedule.

On the contrary, I could a very good time, because of the same typhoon.

This time, a large typhoon crossed the Japanese archipelago without fine weather after typhoon passing.

But we could have perfect surf day after waiting three days.

おもてなしフルスイングの秘訣

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。おはようございます。

8月も終盤に入りましたが、まだまだ暑いですね。

そんな残暑の中ですが、当宿では元気いっぱい心を込めて鋭意おもてなし展開中です。

正直、身体はちょっと夏バテ気味ですが、残暑よりも熱く熱くおもてなし出来ているのには訳があります。

それは、、、

おもてなしする側が、毎日をゲストよりも楽しんでいること！

ゲストがいる時、いない時に限らず、ここで最高の海峡ライフを満喫していることです。

先週は台風７号の影響で、ゲストがいらっしゃる電車が遅れたり色々心配することもありましたが、

その反面、同じ台風の影響で、とてもいい思いができました。

今回は台風一過のない大型台風の日本列島横断となりましたが、三日待って完璧なチャンスを満喫することができました。
