My father on my back!

Japanese Title (邦題): 「父の背を、、あらため、父を背に!」

My father on my back!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Where I visited in the morning on rainy Tuesday was

the house of my parents.

Because my father became unable to move suddenly last week.

We were worried about him and seeing his condition whole weekend but he could not move and walk at all.

After talking with his primary doctor, who is very busy COVID matters, we decided to visit him first thing in Tuesday morning.

However there is a big hurdle for us to go out.

It is stairs in their house. Because of family business they used to work for, the first floor is very high and stairs are very long.

We already had hard experience with the stairs, when he was rescued by ambulance and came back from hospital by ourselves, I decided to prepare for carrying my father on my back and move down/up the stairs.

No matter how many times I did it, it is very hard experience for me with not only physical weigh of father but also weigh of my feeling.

Getting the team work with my brother/sister and proper IV drip at the hospital, he got a little better as of today fortunately. But we will be worry very much about his health from now on.

By the way, the origin of his trouble was the third vaccination for COVID-19. Two days after the vaccination, he got unable to move suddenly with a slight fever.

According to his doctor, he cannot tell the vaccination is the true cause but vaccination can be one of factors causing the trouble.

And he told us that he has seen similar cases happened on elder people.

Low boosted rate with third vaccination in Japan has been topic in recent news and people are worrying another pandemic caused by that.

However we do recommend to think more seriously toward vaccination with preparing mental decision and physical time of both the vaccinating person and his relatives who will care in case of side effect.

I got about fever about 39 degree C ( = 102 degree F ) and spent hard day after the second vaccination. So I think it should be avoided to decided easily to get vaccination.

I have one more advice to share.

Now promoting I-turn (moving to the countryside without any relation) to the people in big cities with the purpose of local town revitalization has been hot topic all over Japan. But I do recommend U-turn before I-turn.

This is from my live experience.

Thank you and you have a nice day with your important somebody.
