We shouldn’t go there after all!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
I remember one experience with seeing TV news that many people moving back to their home town before new year.
A few weeks ago, I reported how many people got together at COSTCO in this town, Kitakyushu on a holiday and I regretted that I went there.
But I know now that
congestion in Kitakyushu is not much of a problem.
That was on Sunday, Nov.27, just normal Sunday.
I felt that I should avoid weekend and holiday but I visited one branch store in the suburb of Tokyo to buy big American size Christmas tree to donate it for an orphanage.
It was in the morning but there were already too many people and anomaly numbers of shopping card lined up in front of cash register zone.
More than 35min for me to go through the checkout. It was like popular attraction in the amusement park.
After experience biology of people living in big city, I re-recognized that we shouldn’t go there after all. To be exact, we (at least, I) should not live in big cities like Tokyo any more.

やっぱり行ってはいけない！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
年末年始の帰省ラッシュのニュースを見ていて思い出しました。
以前、この町 北九州のコストコに休日に行ってあまりの人の多さに失敗したという話題を掲載しました、、、
あれは間違いでした。
北九州の混雑なんて大したことなかったことを実体験しました。
あれは11月27日の日曜日、よくある普通の日曜日。
本当は週末・祝日は避けるべきとは分かっていましたが、児童養護施設に贈呈するクリスマスツリーをその日に入手しなくてはならず、やむなく東京近郊の店舗を訪ねました。
お昼前でしたが、すでに店内はひと人ヒト、レジ前には異様な数のショッピングカートが並んでいました。
そのレジを通過するのにかかった時間はなんと35分！人気の遊園地のアトラクション並みでした。
都会の人の生態に触れてみて、やっぱり週末に買い物に行ってはいけない、もとい、東京をはじめとする大都会に住んではいけないとあらためて悟ることとなりました。
それでは、一般大衆とは逆の行動パターンで素敵な一日を！
