Speaking of unique event of this town,
the brand-new one is posted on the elevator door of city hall.
The world tournament of competition style dance, which was first introduced into Japan by the famous/popular/legendary dance movie released 40 years ago, will be held in this city of Kitakyushu.

Speaking of world tournament, women’s seventh rugby world championship had once held in Kitakyushu for a few years. But there isn’t any excitement for the championship. I was so disappointed, because I personally had enjoyed watching the games for the two years.
We wish this event great success in February this year.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
この街でユニークな最新イベントといえば、、、
市役所１階のエレベーター扉にも貼られているイベント告知。
40年前に大ヒットしたダンス映画で紹介された、あのダンスをコンペティション形式にした競技の世界大会が来月この街で開催されます。

世界大会といえば、かつてワールドラグビー女子セブンズシリーズが数年間ここ北九州で開催されましたが、イマイチ盛り上がりに欠けたことが思い出されます。毎回観戦して結構面白かっただけに残念です。
今年開催されるこちらのイベントには是非とも大成功してほしいですね。
