Welcome home to MOJI!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

I came back to this home town, Moji, after pretty long time.

Non-essential and non-urgent crossings between prefectures are requested to be self-restraint for many months, but I crossed not a few prefectural borders toward the town, TOKYO.

Of course, my moving was not non-essential and non-urgent.

The biggest purpose is the most important thing in these days. Yes, vaccination. And financing.

Because of the bad vaccine logistic of Japanese government, priority inoculation for hotel industry in Fukuoka had been cancelled temporary and I was also refused to get mass inoculation in Fukuoka. So I decided to go to Tokyo hurriedly.
(Both priority inoculation and mass inoculation for other residents are restarted in Fukuoka. Anyway, too many people waiting for making reservation and I will be vaccinated in late October, if I tried to get it in Fukuoka. So my decision seems to be a kind of right decision.)

By the way, vaccination interval of Moderna vaccine is too long for staying in that town “Tokyo”.

But I could have fun time with my pretty grand-daughters and be satisfied to do so.

For transportation to Tokyo, I decided not to use public transportation. So I did cross so many prefectural border lines.

Finally, I came back home on the holiday of autumn equinox day. The souvenir street in this town was very quiet even on public holiday.

When I rolled down the window of my car, I could smell of the port. After I came back to this guesthouse, I could enjoy watching ships moving through the strait and equinox’s sunset.

I did recognized again that I love this town.

おかえりモジ！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

久しぶりに戻ってきました、わが町 門司！

不要不急の県をまたぐ移動の自粛が叫ばれるなか、いくつもの県をまたいで行ってきました”東京”へ。

もちろん不要不急ではありませんよ。

最大の目的は今一番大事なこと、そうワクチン接種！それから資金の確保。

日本政府のワクチンロジスティックの不備のため、福岡県での宿泊業者の優先接種が立ち消えになり、集団接種も断られ、急遽東京行きを決めた次第です。
（今になってどちらも可能になった様ですが、福岡では予約待ちが多すぎて接種完了が１０月末以降になるため結果として良かったです。）

それにしてもモデルナ、接種間隔の長さには参りました。

でも、そのおかげで孫娘たちとは濃密な時間を長く持てました。

移動についても、感染リスクを下げるために公共交通機関は回避。そのため本当にいくつもの県またぎをさせてもらいました。

で、戻ってきたわが町。秋分の日のお休みなのに、車から見たお土産ストリートは静かなものでした。

窓を下ろすと港の香りが、、、宿に戻れば海峡を行き交う船、そして秋分の日の日没。

やっぱり、この町って良いなとあらためて実感した一日でした。
