Udon!
This late-night snack was made by using the pre-boiled noodles I had originally prepared for Saturday lunch.
The reason for this? It is a TV show, I love so much that I’ve even gone on pilgrimages to visit its filming locations.
I was wondering if I’d be able to watch the program live since we had guests over…
But it seems they had flown in on an early morning flight and turned in early, so I ended up watching the show on my computer.
In other words, my late-night snack was prepared after watching that.
So, regarding that TV program…

The filming location this time was a place I’ve already introduced here a few times.
However, one thing that struck me as problematic was that the initial filming location and the food were absolutely terrible.
Honestly, my reaction was, “That was a total dud – why on earth did they choose to cover that?”
The vending machine was located in a corner of an arcade that had a distinct Showa-era vibe; the moment I walked in, it reeked of cigarette smoke, and taste of both the Udon and Soba were terrible. So I probably won’t ever go back there.

The person interviewed on the program honestly commented that the food “this isn’t exactly delicious,” yet made no mention of that smell of the place. It is a safe bet that any non-smokers visiting the site as part of a pilgrimage would be very disappointed.
In contrast, the last filming location was a place I now visit regularly.
When I checked the photos on my smart-phone, I found that I had actually visited there in the latter half of June as well.
After visiting many spots with the vending machines, I think this is the best-tasting vending machine of them all.

先行型 聖地巡り！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
昨日、金曜日の当宿のゲストハウス飯（まかない夜食）は、、、
う・ど・ん っ！
土曜日のお昼用に準備していた茹で麺を使っての夜食です。
というのも、大好きで聖地巡りまでしている番組のせいです。
ゲストさんがいらっしゃるので番組をライブで見れないかと思っていたら、、、
早朝便で飛んでいらっしゃったようで、ゲストさん達は早めに就寝なさったようなので、パソコンで番組視聴してしまいました。
つまり、それを見た後での夜食というわけです。
で、そのテレビ番組ですが、、、

今回のロケ場所はすでにここでも何度か紹介している場所です。
ただ、ちょっとどうかなと疑問に思ったのは、最初のロケ地と食べ物が最悪だったからです。
いやいやそこはハズレでしょう、なんで取材？、、、というのが正直な感想です。
こちらは、昭和の匂いがするゲーセンの一角にあって、入った途端にタバコ臭い、うどんもそばもマズいそんな場所でした。多分自分は二度といきません。

番組で取材された方は「別に おいしいわけじゃない」と正直に食べ物についてコメントされていますが、あの匂いについては言及ありません。聖地巡りする人が嫌煙家だとガッカリすること請け合いでしょう。
対して、最後に取り上げられたロケ地は、今や行きつけになっている場所です。
スマホの画像見てみたら、６月後半にも行っていました。
何ヶ所も巡っている自分の中では、ここが一番おいしい自販機だと思います。
