Other Reasons why I don’t use that Airport!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Someone may wonder if it is really only one reason for me to choose airport.
Answer is No. Souvenir isn’t the only one reason.
There are other reasons. As mentioned before, access by train is not promoted right in spite of its convenience. And that may make passenger less than that supposed to be.
In addition to this, air fare is comparably cheaper than that of Kitakyushu flight. It is about 10 – 20% cheaper.
These mean that flight from/to Yamaguchi Ube Airport is less people and less expensive.
For me, air ticket is to buy space per certain time. So, Yamaguchi Ube Airport is the best match to my idea.
There is one more reason why I love the airport. It is the fine view from train window, even train is treated as good access by the airport.
How fine? It is original landscape of Japan!
If GAIJIN in TOKYO asked me how to go to TOUKA in Kanmon, I recommend him/her to come by airplane to Yamaguchi Ube Airport immediately.
Anyway, best match is depends on the person’s preference. And recommendation above is based on my preference.

あの空港を利用しない その他の理由（わけ）！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
先の記事に疑問に思った方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。
その通りです。ひいきにしている空港選びは、けっしてお土産だけが理由ではありません。
その他に挙げられる大きな理由としては、
先にも記事にしましたが、電車でのアクセスが良いにも関わらず、それがキチンと開示（宣伝）されていないために、利用客が少ないこと。
それに併せて、、、北九州便と比べて常に運賃が10％〜20％安いことが挙げられます。
つ・ま・り、
飛行機が「安く」て「空いてる」！
自分にとって、航空券は「時間あたりのスペース」を買う手段だと考えているので、山口宇部空港は実にいい感じです。 ウザいオヤジが隣に座ったことはないし、隣の人にウザいオヤジだと思われたこともない。（なぜなら真ん中の席が空いているから）
北九州が「盆・正月のホノルル便（高くて狭い）」だとすると、
山口宇部はいつも「GW直後のホノルル便（安くて広い）」という感じです。
（たとえビジネスクラスでも出国手続きや入国審査にはファストパスないですよね。高いカネ出して 町を歩いても混み混みだし、、、）
さらに、その忘れられたアクセス手段である「電車」の車窓から見える風景が、「ザ・にっぽんの原風景」という感じで実に素晴らしい。
（東京にいるガイジンから、「灯火」へはどうやって行くのが一番良い？と聞かれれば、「飛行機で宇部」と即答すること間違いないです。）
とはいえ、以上は全て自分個人の考えであり、好き嫌いはまさにその人次第です。
