Point of notice
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
While announcing my COVID-19 infection in the beginning of August,
I note some points to notice about recent infection from my experience.
At first, it is highly infectious.
I had been paying close attention against infection. For example, I have never used public transportation. But I got infected.
As I already mentioned, public restroom is considered to be a suspicious route of infection in my case.
I felt easy to use it because it is isolated restroom stall,
but no matter how clean and neat it looks, it is risky for us to walk-in the space filled with the breath left by someone who used before us.
Considering that the virus is becoming more contagious, we need to be even more careful.
The next thing to keep in mind is the onset and symptoms after infection.
In my case, the first symptom was a runny nose and nasal congestion.
As such symptoms have not been reported before, I thought I must have caught a cold. However I found that runny nose and nasal congestion are typical symptoms for recent COVID-19 infection.
Everyone please be careful about nasal condition.
The last thing I felt strongly after getting infected is that the infection is spreading much more than what is announced in the news and other medias.
But now, I cannot tell which is better to strengthen infection control measures or to get infected. And I feel that everyone had better to think about it individually including the timing.

注意すべきこと
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
自身の８月初頭の新型コロナ感染を公表したついでに、、、
最近の感染について注意することを記しておきます。
まずは、感染力がすごく強いこと。
今回もひと一倍感染には留意して、公共交通機関の利用もなかったのに、感染してしまいました。
それについては、やはり公衆トイレが怪しいということは前述した通りです。
個室であることに安心し、油断して利用していましたが、
実のところ、どんなに綺麗なトイレでも、先に使った人の吐息が濃く充満する中に自ら入っていくのはリスキーです。
感染力が強くなっていることを考慮すれば、さらに要注意です。
次に留意したいのは感染後の発症、症状について。
自分の場合、発症はなんと鼻水・鼻詰まりからでした。
以前にはそんな症状は報告されてなかったので、夏風邪ぐらいに考えていたら、調べてみると鼻水・鼻詰まりは新しいタイプのウィルスに特徴的らしいのです。
みなさんも鼻の異常にはどうぞお気をつけください。
最後に自分が感染してみて強く感じることは、ニュース等で公表されているよりずっと多く感染が拡大しているのではないかということ。
ただ今となっては、さらに感染対策を強化する方がよいのか、とりあえず感染しておいた方が良いのか、判断することは難しく、そのタイミングも併せて各個人で判断しておく方が良いのではないかと感じます。
