We should not forget it!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
One reason of my visiting Tokyo is to know the influence of one social issue.
Just between ourselves, I am a victim of fake data issue in Japan’s labor ministry. As the result, my unemployment allowance after early retirement was deducted illegally. There are more than 20 million Japanese victim of the issue.
According to the news, victims like me are informed by labor office with announcement of additional allowance after October this year. However I have never seen such information yet. So I visited labor office, so called “Hellowork” in Tokyo. Because I start wondering if my record was erased and if I am not counted as a victim.
The officer said that I am one of the people who should get additional allowance. She taught me that the office have sent information with the order of seniority and it may take several more month for my generation to get informed by the office.
I asked her the amount of allowance is about cost of one time spending at McDonalds. And she answered me that it may be more than 5 time spending at McDonalds with most deluxe meal. Now I have a small excitement for future.(smile)
I was so surprised to know how long does it take for labor ministry/office to take care the recovery of this issue. They may have so many victims to take care or they may need more manpower. So I really wonder how much money and how many people are needed to fix the issue.
By the way, has anybody in the government took responsibility of this critical problem? I clearly remember that there were “malicious concealment” and “false answer” of the ministry during the discussion in the parliament.
In the past, I have taught our guests who are funs of Japan that Japan is a good and fair country, but I can no longer say so. I have to teach them the truth of Japan without concealment and false information.

忘れてはいけない！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
今回の東京行きの目的のひとつが、ある社会問題の影響確認。
実は自分は、厚生労働省の毎月勤労統計などで発覚した統計不正問題の被害者です。早期退職後の雇用保険が過少給付された中のひとりです。
対象者には10月から順次連絡が来ることになっているのに12月になっても音沙汰がなく、まさかまた忘れられているのではないか、もしかして対象者ではないのかも、と不安になり、行ってきましたハローワーク。
確認してもらったところ、やはり追加給付対象者でした。職員によれば、連絡は年長者から順に送っているようで、自分の世代が通知されるまであと数ヶ月はかかるとのこと。
どうせ追加給付額はスズメの涙でしょう？マクドナルド１回分ぐらい？と問うと、一番デラックスなセットで５回以上いけそうですよ、との答え。ささやかな楽しみができました。
それにしてもこの対応の遅さはいったいどうなっているのか？！よっぽど対象者が多いのか、職員＋支援で手が足りないのか、この問題の後処理にどれだけのお金と時間がかかるのか気になるところです。
そういえば、この問題について誰か責任をとったんでしたっけ？
たしかこの問題でも隠蔽やら虚偽の答弁があった記憶が鮮明に残っています。
これまで日本ファンのゲストに、日本は良いところと繰り返し伝えてきましたが、そうでもないことを虚偽・隠蔽なく伝える必要性を感じる今日このごろです。
