It was announced on local TV news. This city seems to be shrinking.
Unfortunately it is shrinking at younger part.

My alma mater no longer exits in this town.
There used to be two high schools in my home town Mojiko but there is none now.
I believe that this problem is not only in our town.

地元のニュースで報じられていましたが、どうもこの街は小さくなっているみたいです。
悲しいかな、それも先細りしていっているようです。

もうすでに自分の母校はありません。
門司港の町に２つあった高校は、今や一つもありません。
この問題、おそらく自分のふるさとに限った問題ではないハズです。
