Very disappointed!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
On Monday, this city announced that they will cancel to hold “Kitakyushu Marathon”, the biggest sports event of this town again this year.
Just after the announcement, we got a disappointing message from our guest.
Until two years ago, we had enjoyed cheering our guests running through this town at the roadside in front of red brick warehouses, the landmark of this town. We are so disappointed, we cannot do it again this year.
However we agree our city’s decision with seeing COVID-19 infection status of this country. By the way, why is the government of Fukuoka pref. always late for applying infection control measures?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
月曜日、この町を駆け抜けるご当地最大のスポーツイベント「北九州マラソン」の二年連続中止が決定されました。
その直後にゲストさんからの残念なメッセージをいただきました。
二年前まで毎年、すぐ坂下のランドマーク赤レンガ倉庫前でゲストさんを応援する楽しみのイベントだったので、それが今年もまた出来ないのは非常に残念です。
しかしながら、日本での新型コロナの感染状況を見るとこの決断も致し方ないでしょう。それにしても我が県の感染措置申請にいつも後手後手なのはなんでだろう～。
