Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

There is a beautiful beach in this city. Strong north wind blows in winter.

The wind blow over the beach, over the windbreak and arrive at vegetable fields.

Now is the peak of spring cabbage harvest there.

Trucks are carrying full of cabbages in their big steel baskets.

This city seems to be industrial place but there is such a farming area. This is also good point of this town.

This cabbage is called as “Shiokaze Cabbage (Sea breeze cabbage)” and delivered to all over this country. So please try it , if you see “Shiokaze Cabbage” in the market of your area.

今が旬！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この町にある美しい海岸線。冬は北風が強く吹きます。

その風が、砂浜を越え、防風林を越えたところにあるのが、野菜畑。

そこではいま春キャベツの収穫が最盛期です。

道路にはみずみずしいキャベツをカゴいっぱいの載せたトラックが行き交います。

工業都市のようで、こんな光景も見られる。この町のいいところですね。

こちらのキャベツ、その名称は「潮風キャベツ」、、、全国に発送されているようなので、もし市場で見つけたら是非試してください。
