Charmed by the boy’s smile
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The next shop/restaurant I visited was the one I wanted to visit the most this time.
It all started when I saw a TV program that I watch often, about a foreign tourists. That time, they produce a program about a Brazilian boy who makes his dreams come true.
The boy’s wish is “to indulge in Japanese food all day long”!
TV staff prepared this menu of this shop/restaurant for the breakfast to fulfill his dream.
In fact, when I visited in the evening, they were sold out and closed early, so I went back the next morning.
( There was a big festival in town that weekend, and demand for ODEN seemed to be booming.)
But why am I so obsessed with it that I visit there twice to eat them?
That’s because the boy’s smile while eating ODEN in the program was so charming.
When I was eating, the ladies of the shop got excited about talking about the boy as well.
I don’t think I was as cute as that boy, but needless to say, the moment I bit into the oden, I also had the biggest smile on my face.
Oh, I’m already craving it again.

あの子の笑顔に魅せられてリベンジ
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
次に訪ねたお店は、今回一番行きたかったお店。
結構よく見るあるテレビ番組の企画で登場した外国人の男の子の夢をかなえるというものを見たのがきっかけ。
その男の子の願いは「一日中日本食三昧」！
そんな彼の夢に対して、テレビ局が用意した朝食がこちらのお店。
実は夕方訪問したところ、ネタが売り切れていて早々と閉店、翌朝再訪問したのでありました。
（その週末は街の大きなお祭りだったようで、おでん需要も盛況だったようです。）
でも、リベンジするほど執着するかって？
番組の中で男の子が見せたおでんをほお張りながらの笑顔が魅力的すぎたから。
お店のおばちゃん達ともその話題で盛り上がりました。
あの子ほどはかわいくはないとは思いますが、ほおばった瞬間自分もこの上ない笑顔になってしまったことは言うまでもありません。
あぁ、すでにまた食べたくなってます。
