A TV news caught my mind.
It is about one big IT company decided to build new IT center in Kitakyushu. I recognize the potential of this area by that.
“As of today, three data centers have been established in this city. City officer commented that local government keep attracting IT company with low ratio of disaster risk.” (announced by anchor of TV news)
This means that companies are admitting low disaster risk of this area.
I also found that most of 20 ordinance-designated cities are within within 100km from nuclear power plants in radius except here and Yokohama. When we talk about disaster, we should consider not only natural disaster risk, but also man-made disaster risk.
City officers who visited TOUKA informed me of increasing vacant houses, because of low birthrate and longevity in this area. As Kitakyushu was the first industrialized area in Japan, it is advanced about aged society.
Actually, I found so many reasonable houses both for sale and for lease around here.
So, it is getting easier to migrate to this area, with keeping low disaster rate and high comfortability of living.
It is good time to migrate, isn’t it? Good time may be short until rich people in neighbor counties noticed about those.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
実家に寄った際に流れていたテレビ。 あるニュースに目が留まりました。
北九州市のIT企業誘致が成功したというニュースでしたが、その話を聞きながら、この地域の魅力を再認識しています。
「大手IT企業のグループ会社などによる３つのデータセンターが進出しています。北九州市は災害が少ないというメリットを活かし、地方創生の実現に向けてIT分野でもさらに企業誘致をすすめていきたいとしています。」（ニュースキャスターのアナウンス）
つまり産業界が、この地域の災害リスクの低さを認めているということです。
災害リスクというと、この国特有の自然災害リスクがまず気になりますが、先の教訓から原発等の取り返しのつかない人災リスクも忘れてはいけません。
興味が湧いたので調べたところ、全国に20ある政令指定都市のうち原発の100km圏内に入っていないのはココと横浜ぐらいのようです。自然災害のリスクが低い上に、原発放射能のリスクも低いことが魅力的に映るのは自分くらいでしょうか？
また当宿を訪れる地方行政を担う役所の人達の話では都市型の少子高齢化の先進地域のため、空き家が増えているそうで、調べると確かに不動産は賃貸・売買問わず、良質・お手頃の物件がたくさん市場に出ています。
災害リスクの低いことや住みよさはそのまま、移り住みやすさが上昇している感覚です。
U・Iターンするのに悪くないタイミングだと思いますが、どうでしょう？ 近隣国の富裕層が目をつけて値が上がる前にね。
