Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
There are sometimes more than two afterglows here in Kanmon area.
The 1st one is afterglow by sunset.
The 2nd one is afterglow by hot melting steel.
In my childhood, I heard that 2nd one is caused by opening pot of melting iron in the steel works.
I’ve never confirmed the story is true or not.
Anyway, 2nd afterglow has been regional feature of Kanmon.

I think that it is better for us to burn our heart more than twice in our lives.

燃えるような、、、
ここ関門では時折、日に二度以上 空が真っ赤に焼けることがあります。
一度目は夕焼け。
二度目は、、、鉄焼け(?)。
幼い頃、製鉄所が高炉の蓋を開けるせいで空が燃えると聞いていましたが、、、
実際はどうなんでしょう？
とにかく、二度焼け、、関門の風物詩です。
（今回の画像も「灯火」ゲストルームからのものです。）
空だけでなく、人生もまた、二度とは言わず、複数回燃えたいですね。
